Great couscous & tajines restaurant. Delicious appetisers great variety of Mediterranean dishes. Very professional & great quality food from lamb shanks couscous to good warm homemade pita bread. We were seated at the groups corner, & it was amazing place for our group so 1+ for that. Thank you for the night !
We had a great dinner at Menthe & Couscous. The service is excellent. We were able to relax on their comfy seatings & choose the best plates with the help of our server. Everything is very fresh. I can highly recommend them.
On our most recent visit on a Friday night in late June, we ( 3 adults) inhaled Malsouka with spinach, the sizzling merguez & the moussaka dip. For mains we took the couscous royal for 2 & the lamb tajine. It was heaven in a plate. Finishing off with the kunafa & their baklawa with cashews, it was another perfect meal at Menthe & Couscous.
As a Montrealer who travels as lot, I am very picky & easily bored when it comes to restaurants, & especially so when it comes to our local restaurants, but Menthe & Couscous never fails to impress & satisfy. With exquisite service & a top notch selection of the best & freshest ingredients, it always feels like a special occasion, even when it is not.
We came here for dinner & wine (byob) before the play in theatre Saint Denis. We shared the delights for 2. Then ordered the couscous royal for 2. Everything was perfect. I've never been disappointed. The food & service is always outstanding.

Le cadre rénové de cet établissement est réussi. Épuré, cosy, enchanté. La carte propose une grande variété de couscous être tajines. Beaucoup d'originalité sur la préparation & l'accompagnement. Un peu dispendieux, mais la table les vaut.
Nous sommes allés souper au restaurant Menthe & couscous in vendredi soir où il y a le spectacle de danse orientale. Nous étions impatients d'aller y manger pour souligner la fin de nos études universitaires d'ingénierie. Plusieurs points positifs pour cet endroit. Le décor, la musique & l'ambiance nous permettent de retrouver les pays méditerranéens le temps d'une soirée. Nous avons été bien accueilli au départ & installés confortablement au coin des groupes. Une bonne explication sur le menu, par notre serveur & la gérante Rachel. L'entrée de moussaka & doigt royal était délicieuse. Le tajine au jarret d'agneau était impeccable. Cuisson parfaite mais & gouteux. On a finis notre repas par des bons assortiments de desserts & le café turque qui nous a fait sourire. Un incontournable à Montréal.

Rarement il m'a été donné d'être accueillie, écoutée, servie avec ce decorum, ce professionnalisme & cette courtoisie. Serveurs & aides-serveurs omniprésents sans être embarassants ni étouffants. Une qualité culinaire d'exception, quand on dit cuit à la perfection...il le sera. Un incontournable au moins une fois dans sa vie
Menthe & Couscous is an outstanding restaurant at the quartier latin in Montreal. It has been around a long time & just seems to get better. If you want lamb you cannot do better than Menthe & Couscous. The service was top & the food excellent. The salad was so good you would have thought. Of the 5 mains ordered, although all were great. But be aware that this is not an inexpensive evening. So do what we did in terms of a family celebration. Make it even that more special of an evening.

A Perfect Valentine's Evening at Menthe & Couscous 💖
I had the most wonderful experience celebrating Valentine's Day at Menthe & Couscous! From the moment we walked in, the warm Mediterranean ambiance set the perfect romantic mood. The candlelit tables, soft lighting, & elegant decor created an intimate & cozy atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious-every dish was packed with authentic Mediterranean flavors. We started with the mezze platter, which was fresh & flavorful, followed by the lamb tagine that was cooked to perfection. My partner had the seafood couscous, & it was equally delightful.
The live music added a magical touch to the evening, making the experience even more special. The staff was incredibly welcoming & attentive, ensuring that every detail was perfect.
Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or simply want to enjoy amazing Mediterranean cuisine, Menthe & Couscous is the place to be. Highly recommended.
Had a great evening at this restaurant. I appreciate the waiter's positive attitude. I tried for the first time the couscous royal. I did not know what to expect but it was very copious & full of flavors with a lamb shank, bon less chicken breast & merguez. A great deal in a meal. Did try my table partner's seafood couscous paella which was fantastic. I would come back for this. For starter we had the delight for 2, it was a good introduction to appetizers. I've never had anything like it before. For dessert I had the baklava with cashews & pistachios. I have a very sweet tooth & I loved it. We ended with their famous green tea with mint. Amazing.
We were looking for a quick diner & wishes to get Mediterranean food. We are really big couscous & tajine lovers & we found that the card was quite elaborate. I cannot say anything about the food, as once again it was delicious, but prices are really high. You pay for the beautiful restaurant & to have a cosy dinner. It can be a real nice place for a romantic dinner.
Des entrées aux repas toute es fabuleux la mechouia en entrée une des meilleures que j'ai mangé à vie, le service est au top, l'ambiance le décor je vais y retournée assurément & avec des amis leurs faire découvrir.
