The overall experience was perfect for me; the food qualities were as good as the original K2 bistro, & all the variations are still there with some unique extras. MAKE SURE TO TELL THE STAFF IF IT IS THE DAY OF YOUR BIRTHDAY!!! 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂 cause they will give you a really cute birthday present 🎁

Restaurant looks cool. That's about all it's got going for it. When I sat down my tablet said 29.99. Halfway through some guy came over & changed it then the screen said $39.99 I was there at lunch time. Wouldn't go back again, poor sushi chefs, rice in the nigiri absolutely fell apart, order the Philadelphia Roll, comes with one hair thick slice sliver of cream cheese, guess it's on extreme ration. Wouldn't recommend it at all, & definitely will never be back.
The food was okay, not many sushi options & theres even less options for other dishes.. 🫣for the price, Id skip it & go somewhere else. The place is truly a dream for anime fans, its beautiful & kids will be amazed by it, but thats it. 40$ for adults & kids eat for 20$ If they had more food options it wouldve been perfect. Sadly, it'll be our first & last time coming here just for this reason. Staff were very kind tho👍🏼
Une belle première expérience au Manga Bistro. Le service était super rapide. La nourriture excellente dans un décor exceptionnel pour les amateurs de Manga.
Don't expect real first class sushi but for an All you can eat, this place has Excellent quality of food & service. We expected regular ayce but really were positively overwhelmed! Decor is outstanding too. Highly recommended!

Food was extremely meh if I have to be honest, one of the servers also took our dish away before we even finished 😅 overall you're really just paying for the manga/anime deco
Efficient all you can eat system for a fixed price, plus tax. Food is nice if you know what to get & it arrived relatively fast despite how busy it was. You order as much as you want from the tablet screen on your table, so it cuts out the middle man between you & the cooks. Helpful tip for these places is to always finish the food to not get charged a dollar per food item later. Order little by little. That way you will have time to think if you want to keep going or not. Enjoy!
The staff here is soooo nice. To be honest, it does take a while to get seated. Like a long time if you dont have a reservation. We went there during ramadan, & while we were waiting, the staff offered us some food to break our fast. It was so considered & kind of them. Will come back, next time with a reservation too
Beautiful place, fast & friendly service & delicious food! If you know someone who likes sushi &/or mangas, this is the perfect place. Also, it's good for a first date for example. But be careful, cause it is not a cheap place.
First of all, the restaurant name can be a little misleading. It's "Manga Bistro Sushi" but it has absolutely nothing to do with Mangas, nothing. Yes, in Japan they do have Manga Cafe where you dine & read mangas there, this place is not it. It's just a regular sushi buffet restaurant covered in anime wallpapers & figurines, that's it. I will give them the credits that the interior decoration looks amazing but that's as far as it goes. Now let's talk about the food itself. Let's just keep it simple, does it have more variety of sushi compared to other similar places down the street, not really. Does it taste better than others, not at all. The selling point is the decoration, that's really it. Although the price is higher than others. There are some sushi/rolls you can clearly tell that they are using old rice as it is super dry, stiff & easily fall apart. This is a bonus since it might not apply to a lot of people, but also a warning. For customers who happen to enjoy torched Nigiri. It is no secrets that this place is all about presentations. When they serve you torched Nigiri, they torch it in front of you, on your table. I don't know which genius thought this was a good idea, as you may have personal belongings that can be damaged accidentally if left on the table. Perhaps, eventually light someone on fire, then sued to oblivion. Not to mention that there are flammable materials on the table like napkins. A small accident or some silly kids being rough are all it takes to start the Billy Joel song. If this practice does not change, it is only a matter of time. I would recommend you to tell the waiters to torch it properly where it is safe. The funny thing is that the chefs already torch it slightly in the back, then waiters torch it again right in front of you for presentations. You might think that I am being paranoid but the reason why this section is so big is because they accidentally lit my table on fire & made a mess with water trying to extinguish it. Lastly, the service isn't bad at all. I really like the fact that you can just order it on the tablet assigned to each table. The serving time is relatively fast. In conclusion, if you live outside of Montreal & here for the weekend, then sure try it because why not, the visual is somewhat spectacular. But if you want to get your money worth, then this isn't the place for you for sure. It is one of those places that you go once for the experience & take pictures then never return again.
It is an all you can eat for 42 $ or so. The deco was very cool for my 8 year old who loves anime . It is bright & very colorful, tons of act & figurines everywhere. Was there tonight, Sunday at 6. Busy, but there no line up until we left around 8 something. The food was great & tasty, a bit like a kanda menu, but has more sauces for the meats. Only issue I has was some plates can out no very warm, & a couple were very salty. But in general, they all tasted great. Their warm fish sauce was very nice but did not care too much for their white sauce on the fried calamari. Service was very great, fast & efficient. Dirty plates were picked up within a maximum of 3 minutes for one plate & normally 1 minute. I very muched like the food & my son ate more at restaurants then another. He asked to go back 3 more times. Which is a big compliment
