Used to be really good but since they changed their menu it went a notch down. the salmon tartare is now really bland & they removed the lobster slider, which was the only thing I that made me go to this place The new beef tartare is good though.
The wine I tasted was exceptional, & for a very reasonable price. With the subtle exterior (you only see the address on the outside) & the fantastic industrial-wood interior it is hard not to appreciate the ambiance. There are huge garage type doors that open up as windows so you feel as though you are enjoying the beautiful summer air from inside the bar. I was there with a party of 8, & we shared many of the tapas-style sharing plates. The guacamangue was fantastic - a refreshing mix of avocado & mango with chips to dip & share. The salmon tartare was also excellent, as well as the fig wrapped in bacon... Soooo yummy! Oh & the homemade hummus. The wine menu was perfect, & served each of us very well. The cocktail with muddled cassis & whisky proved to be as delightful in colour as it was in taste. As a new establishment, I really enjoyed the take on a trendy wine bar, & didn't feel that is was a pretentious place for my friends & I to come & have a good bite to eat & a few great drinks after work. Definitely going back!
