I don't normally post a review after one dinner. Well, my husband & I have eaten at Lucille's on Monkland in NDG (Montreal) 4 times over the span of a few weeks, &'all 4' of our experiences were 5-star worthy when it comes to food, service & atmosphere.
Yesterday, my husband had a decadent Watermelon Marguerita, fresh crisp salad, Steak-frites (medium-rare as requested & so tender), & chocolate mousse. He raved.
I had a Tanqueray Martini, a dozen Premium Oysters, & Asian-Style Salmon Tartare with Plantain Chips. Delicious.
Everything we've ever eaten there has been equally superb. They have an extensive menu & signature cocktail list (but you can order other cocktails & wine). They cater to seafood & meat lovers alike--appetizing presentation & attention to detail, fresh elevated dishes. It's a great spot for date-night & for groups, whether dining inside or on their beautiful terrasse.
Staff is always welcoming & super friendly. Special thanks to Nihed for taking such good care of us yesterday (& on our previous visit), & Alysha for looking in on us. Josef from a previous visit was also great. Kudos to the magicians in the kitchen & the mixologist. &, the atmosphere, as usual, was lively & fun.
Highly recommended. My husband I can't wait to go back.

Yo fam, I'm telling you straight up, if you aren't pulling up to Lucille's, you are playing yourself & eating mid. This place is undefeated, absolute royalty, & takes zero prisoners. If you want some serious shucking & sucking of those slippery little suckers, they got it completely locked down. We're talking supreme steak, elite tartare, crispy frites, & a wine list that hits ooh-la-la status every single time. The ambiance is high-energy, the vibe is unmatched, & the prices are too reasonable for this level of greatness.So look, if you don't want to have a really good time & enjoy some of the most fantastic food of your life, then stay home & keep slacking. This spot is for the real ones who know what's up. You dun know, Lucille's is absolute elite status, period.

Food was amazing but it seemed like our server forgot about us once we got our main course. As we were walking out one of the servers made a sarcastic comment about how me & my friends dressed & we heard the staff laugh.

I have eaten thousands of steaks, but the ribeye here was on of the very best. Good food, good service; although a little cramped, with people squeezing past each other. But those thin paper napkins? Really? Such a pity. Update - came again twice & similar result each time - great steaks with MacDonald's tissues for napkins, but this time with a logo. Interestingly I was reliably informed that staff are even discouraged from'wasting' too many napkins. Kindly increase the cost of each steak by $1and provide decent napkins! Keep the change.

The Food Was Incredible.Our server Was fantastic at taking orders & had a funny personality.It was not rushed but also not long to get food.Overall Great experience would come back

Great food. The oysters, the beef carpaccio, the salads & the steak were all great. Great atmosphere on the terrace. Our server (Ryan) made great food & wine recommendations & overall made the night out more fun. I'd go back!
