I've eaten there 2 nights in a row & both meals were amazing & delicious. Very thoughtful & creative dishes that don't skimp on flavor. I just sat at the bar by myself to eat & although the bartender was super busy cranking out drinks for the whole restaurant, he was very attentive & polite. Great place & if I didn't have a business dinner scheduled elsewhere tomorrow evening, I'd be back at LOV again!Voir plus
Great experience at LOV .
The ambiance is cozy & chic, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. They specialize in plant-based cuisine, offering a wide variety of creative vegan & vegetarian dishes that are as flavorful as they are beautiful. From their signature bowls to the mouthwatering entrees, every bite was delightful. They also have a unique selection of drinks, including healthy, refreshing options & creative cocktails. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or just looking for delicious, wholesome food, LOV is a must-visit spot in Montreal!Voir plus
My husband & I went to LOV on a date night. My husband is a carnivore & I am a vegetarian. He is pretty reluctant to eat vegetarian food, however, he absolutely loved the food here.
We both really enjoyed the atmosphere & the food was divine. My husband got an old fashioned & was really impressed.
We both had the French onion soup as our appetizer. We shared the mozzarella as well as the arancini for our mains. I would recommend all three of these dishes.
I highly recommend this restaurant for vegans, vegetarians, & carnivores alike!Voir plus
The dining area was too cute. The warm vibe was welcoming & the staff was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing. I don't know if Montreal is just a high caliber for service & food or if I have been lucky. I normally give 3 star ratings. This place blew my mind with their vegetarian dishes. The Konjac salmon was so good. The beet salad was flavourful. The sweet potato fries was the right balance of sweet & savoury. Highly recommend this restaurant.Voir plus
This place is a vegan gem! The menu is creative & diverse, with something for everyone-even non-vegans would love it. I tried caramari fries, buffalo cauliflower wings & the mushroom risotto & were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the staff are knowledgeable & welcoming. Whether you're vegan or just curious, this is a must-visit spot. I can't wait to come back & try more dishesVoir plus
Great vegetarian/vegan restaurant in downtown Montreal. Several of their dishes have both vegan & vegetarian versions. The space is very cute & the noise level isn't bad for a romantic dinner. My wife got the vegetarian truffle mushroom risotto which was excellent. I had the coconut curry with butternut squash on rice with cashews & cilantro which I enjoyed immensely. The brownie dessert could have been better hence the one star reduction. It was over cooked & hard in spots. But overall I'll definitely return next time I'm the city.Voir plus
Our dinner at Lov in Montreal was a standout during our trip, offering a perfect blend of exceptional service, delicious vegan & vegetarian options, & stunning decor. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth & attentiveness that made us feel instantly at ease. The menu at Lov is a haven for plant-based food enthusiasts. My wife, who particularly enjoys vegan cuisine, was thrilled with the variety & creativity of the dishes. Each plate was a vibrant display of fresh, flavorful ingredients that were both satisfying & beautifully presented. The options are so well-crafted that even non-vegetarians will find something to love. The decor of the restaurant is simply breathtaking. With its chic, modern design, lush greenery, & cozy atmosphere, Lov feels like a serene oasis in the heart of the city. The ambiance added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience, making it not just a meal, but a memorable event. Overall, Lov Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Montreal looking for delicious vegan & vegetarian fare in a beautiful setting. We left feeling satisfied & eager to return on our next visit to the city. Highly recommended!Voir plus
A great, unique vegetarian/vegan restaurant with a diverse menu to appeal to plenty of tastes. The mushroom risotto is amazing & there are great, hearty salad options. We also really enjoyed our mocktails. The service was relatively quick & very friendly. Prices are reasonable for the quantity & quality of dishes.Voir plus
This place is very pleasant, ideal for meeting friends. Cozy, delicate interior, beautiful furniture & excellent service. Prices are quite reasonable. The dishes are beautifully presented & quite tasty. Good coffee. The wait for the order was somewhat overshadowed by the too long wait. The dishes were not served at the same time. & it was completely uncomfortable when the neighboring tables, after clearing the dishes, began to be treated with chemicals. There was already food on our table. & nearby tables & chairs were disinfected. I thank you for the cleanliness & disinfection. But I'm eating here now! However, the overall impression is quite positive, I definitely recommend this establishment!!!Voir plus
We went here for dinner after reading amazing reviews about the gnocchi, kimchi fries & coconut curry, sadly, they had stopped serving gnocchi, but we tried their coconut curry was delicious. Kimchi fries were okayish, they lacked kimchi & a bit of dressing so I wouldn't recommend it as you won't be missing out on anything. Their Dumplings were tasty too, the dipping sauce which came with it was delicious & we used the same to finish the kimchi fries too hehe. The coconut curry was soooo comforting, we were visiting montreal for the first time & were roaming for entire day, after having this coconut curry it just felt like we ended our day having home cooked dish!! I would highly recommend it if you are craving for some comfort food. The drinks were also nice, we ordered the Botanist & Pink everything , I must say the Botanist was really really good. I would highly recommend it. The ambience of this place is really nice & peaceful. It won't seem like a very big restaurant from outside but once you enter you would be like this is huge!! Plus it's all white & nice. I would come back here to try their brunch menu & also try their other dishes in future. & would be happy to see if they serve their famous gnocchi again!!! Staff here is very friendly & nice!Voir plus
**Lov Mcgill Brunch Menu Review** For months, my wife & I have passed by Lov Mcgill, each time noting how busy it always seems. Its inviting atmosphere & cozy interior beckoned us, & we finally decided to see what all the buzz was about. The moment we stepped inside, the warm & inviting ambiance immediately struck us. We were fortunate to arrive just before the rush, allowing me to snap a few photos of the serene & beautifully decorated space. But it wasn't long before the place filled up, confirming its popularity. We started our brunch with Americano coffees, served with soy milk on the side. The coffee was robust & rich, a perfect start to our meal. For the main course, we ordered the Avocado Country Bread & the Chick'n Waffle. The Avocado Country Bread was a delightful mix of fresh, creamy avocado spread generously over a hearty slice of country bread, topped with radishes & a sprinkle of spices that added a nice kick. The flavors were well-balanced, & the dish felt both wholesome & satisfying. The Chick'n Waffle was a standout. The waffle was perfectly crisp on the outside yet fluffy inside, providing a perfect contrast to the crispy, flavorful chickin. Drizzled with just the right amount of syrup, it was a harmonious blend of sweet & savory that left us wanting more. Lov Mcgill lived up to its reputation. The combination of a cozy ambiance, friendly service, & delectable dishes made for a memorable brunch experience. It's no wonder this place is always bustling with patrons eager to enjoy its offerings. If you're looking for a spot that combines a warm, inviting atmosphere with delicious food, Lov Mcgill is definitely worth a visit.Voir plus
We were very unimpressed with our meal here. As vegetarians we have tried many of these higher-end vegan/vegetarian experiences & felt that this one brought no creativity to its dishes. Moreover, we found the food to be very mediocre.Voir plus
LOV has amazing plant-based dishes covering a wide variety of cuisines & has very unique culinary interpretations of animal-based foods. The service was excellent & the décor was simple but, elegant. Would highly recommend if you want meal that won't disappoint.Voir plus
Super nice restaurant for brunch or breakfast! They serve very tasty sweet &/or salty dishes (plus they have vegan & gluten-free options). The beverages are also good & have lactose-free options. Service is good & quick. Definitely coming back!Voir plus
High quality vegan food, delicious & served by professional & friendly staff. The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing. This is our new favourite place in DiX30! Highly recommended. People who are not vegan also commented that they enjoyed the vegan & vegetarian dishes. Next level!Voir plus
Very good vegetarian restaurant, delicate food,we had some dishes. All the dishes including the dessert s were very good. The service is fast & efficient. Definitely recommend.Voir plus
I really enjoyed having a vegan date night at LOV!! The staff were kind & they offered a variety of white wines by the glass (including my favourite type of Chardonnay!) The Kimchi fries came out a little undercooked but the toppings were fantastic. It was a little over salted but easily remedied by their wine :) The food did take long to prepare but was worth the wait. I believe they were hoping to serve all our dishes at the same time. For my main, I had the coconut curry which I was delighted to see served with quinoa (A lower carb substitute for rice! Although they had some rice in it as well which was a tad bit undercooked). In areas for improvement, it was a little cold. Also, for all the food related issues I believe just turning the stove/fryer on a little higher would help the dishes tremendously; with the undercooking & temperature. The highlight was definitely the atmosphere! It felt very peaceful & calming. Everything was near perfect, a few minor adjustments to the food would really make this restaurant a must-see! Either way, I will definitely come again to try other vegan food on their menu! :)Voir plus
Checked the website ahead, knew what I wanted to eat. Went there Sunday at 2 pm. Only brunch menu served. I went there to try one of their main dishes. Waitress was polite but not friendly. Noone looked after us for 10 minutes when it was actually pretty empty. Table behind us was ready to leave but it sounded sooo busy in there. Not a pleasant experience all together.Voir plus
