I have been coming to Lola restaurant since the 1970's, & was the first customer to be served by the new (& present) owners. There have been lots of changes to the decor & the menu over the years. The one constant, the food. The food remains delicious, flavourful & healthy (albeit now serving desserts, also delicious). My recent visit was wonderful. The food was excellent, the service was as well. I do miss some of my previous favourite vegetarian options but I am will to change with the times.

Sadly, not a great experience at Lola Rosa Milton. Service was slow. No one asked us if we would like another drink or checked on us at all while we waited for our food. It took an hour & 20 minutes to get our entrees. It seems as though take out orders took precedence to in person dining. Love the concept, but the service needs improvement.

We had an excellent lunch, one of the best at Lola Rosa! Caesar salad, eggplant bartha & smoked carrot & mushroom tartare were delicious! Coffee not so good. Great service too even though waiters don't seem to know the menu very well. I was never disappointed at Lola's !

We had an excellent evening at Lola Rosa. We had trouble finding the restaurant, phone & were given excellent directions. The service was very friendly & helpful & our meals were delicious. Th restaurant was full & there's not doubt as to why.

Never a disappointing meal at Lola Rosa! I have been there for brunch, lunch & dinner & have tried almost everything on the menu... Absolutely delicious. Best nachos I have ever tasted

Nous adorons Lola Rosa sur Milton! Nourriture délicieuse, service attentionné, ambiance plaisante & prix raisonnables. C'est en train de devenir une tradition de nous y retrouver. Merci!

Lola Rosa sur Milton = Repas exquis, ambiance animée & chaleureuse. Le personnel, très accueillant, y est aussi pour beaucoup avec le sentiment de bien-être qui m'a habité l'instant de ce repas qui, en plus d'être délicieux, était à un prix plus qu'abordable considérant la qualité &... la quantité.
I've been to Lola Rosa a bunch of times & every time I go I always order the hemp burger ... it's absolutely delicious! The service is a little slow sometimes, especially at peak hours, but with drawers packed with notes from patrons-past you don't really notice the time.
Je mange assez souvent à Lola Rosa le midi, c'est une excellente option pour un repas (végétarien) sympa. Toute la carte est de bonne qualité, & nous apprécions le service, toujours sympa quoique parfois un peu long (le restaurant est parfois victime de son succès aux heures de pointe). Une option sûre pour le midi près de McGill.
Lola Rosa is a Milton Street institution. It gets 4 stars only because the food isn't INCREDIBLE, but it is consistently very good. I have gone so many times that I have eaten pretty much everything on the menu at least three times. Even my non-vegetarian boyfriend loves it (it's all vegetarian). Service can be slow, even when it's not full, with me having to ask for water & refills. However, the owner & staff are super super friendly. My favourites (you should try!) are the lasagna, the tomato feta olive tart, the ratatouille; my boyfriend likes the lasagna, the burritos, & the chili. The dessert - very good, especially the croustade aux pommes! Sometimes they also have excellent soups.
