Our mission is to elevate butchery to the rank of gastronomy by having an ethical and creative approach. Exceptional, high-quality meats are processed with care and passion. For the master butcher Philippe, his job does not simply consist of boning and cutting, for him being a butcher has maintained a link with each of his customers to understand their expectations and advise them by passing on his know-how.
Les Têtes de Cochon delivers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and a genuinely satisfying experience where the food is beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Dishes feel distinctive with their own personality, and attentive service adds warmth that elevates the meal into an experience rather than just dinner. The vibe remains relaxed and inviting, making groups and families feel at home and inviting a return visit.

I'll preface this review with the following:
1) While everything looked & smelled great, I cannot comment on the quality of the food, we did not receive any. The following review is based solely on service.
2) My wife & I are not fluent in French. My wife knows enough to muddle through most transactions, but in general, we politely ask "do you speak English" (in French, of course) upon entering any establishment.
We had a reservation for 8:00pm. We showed up to the restaurant & walked in at 7:55. A server walked up to us & my wife asked her if she spoke English. She responded that she spoke a little bit & explained that their credit card machine was broken, so that we would have to pay cash. No problem, we had plenty of cash. She told us we could choose between a high top table or a lower table. We chose the lower. A couple minutes after we sat down, another couple sat down at the high top. Someone came by & have us menus & water.
For the next 25 minutes, we watched the server serve everyone but us. She took the order of the high top table that sat after us, she brought others their food. We deciphered the menu & knew what we wanted to order & we sat, & we waited. My wife made eye contact with the server. She continued to ignore our table. Eventually we decided to leave. The server said nothing as we walked past.
I can honestly say that I've never been completely ignored in that manner in any restaurant, in any country. If this had been my only experience with a restaurant in Quebec I probably would have left, never to return. I can only surmise that the server identified us as tourists who didn't speak French & did not care whether or not we dined at the Restaurant.
I hope that my experience was an abberation, but I'd caution anyone in a similar situation to choose another restaurant. We ended up having an absolutely wonderful meal at another restaurant around the corner that we had frequented earlier in the week.
Super service! Nourriture incroyable! Ambiance festive, tout en étant intime! Vins d'importations privés avec beaucoup de choix. (Petit bémol, pas beaucoup de choix à prix modique.) Je recommande ce resto sans hésitation
Restaurant was very busy. At 700 pm they ran out of the ribs which is the food that they are famous for. Other substitutes also on the table d,hote as they were sold out of what the daily specials were. Service although a bit slow was friendly & effi
