Calamari was too bland. The chicken was just the right spiciness.
The chicken is superb & my girlfriend had the best cod i ever tasted .
We brought our own wine & the prices were reasonable .
We will be back for sure .
Deeply disappointed in our meal - combo 1 - whole chicken with fries, salad & rice. The chicken was dry, the fries satisfactory & the salad was only enough for one person, not two. Also, the rice just was not good - no taste. Very disappointed because I had heard only good things about this restaurant, & being a Montrealer, we know good food. It certainly was not worth it, in fact, it ruined our date night.
Un vrai délice ! La typique nourriture portugaise bien goûteuse. J'y suis aller pour un dîner. Nous avons partagé plusieurs plats pour goûter à différents mets .Tout était très bon. C'est une petite place qui a l'air de rien mais qui vaut vraiment la peine d'être découverte. Je vous la recommande fortement
Yesterday, I picked up a take out order of 2 full chickens & a plate of Octopus. When I got home, i was shocked to see a plate of canned beans with some lettuce & 2 small pieces of octopus (smaller then my pinkie finger). I was sure that there was a mistake so I called the restaurant. I explained the lady on the phone my concern. She passed me to the owner.
The owner did not even gave me the chance to explain & went on tell me that for $9 I should not expect more & that I should see how expensive it is Downtown. I was more upset about his attitude & arrogance. I do understand that for $9 I cannot expect too much, but 2 small pieces is exaggerated.
Also he should not compare is hole in the wall in a run down shopping center that does mainly take out orders to a pricier restaurant like "La Sirene de la mer".
I admit, the chicken is acceptable but at $17 for a take out SMALL chicken, it is a little pricey. Go to Adonis, & you get a large Charcoal BBQ chicken for $11.
Nous avons découvert un excellent restaurant. Le poulet sur charbon de bois est tout simplement DELI-CIEUX!!!! Une assiette très généreuse & un patron très professionnel.
I went there with my wife last Saturday (Aug 10th 2013) .
We both started with salted cod croquettes then both enjoyed our chicken dishes (Yummy) as our main !!!
I'd strongly recommend this restaurant for casual dinning.
Service was prompt & very friendly !!! We hope to be back soon

Très bonne alternative quand on ne peut manger à la maison & que l’on se soucie de ce que nos enfants ingurgitent. Le service est rapide,le poulet grillé est délicieux, le riz,les frites maisons,la salade, tout est très bon, même le pain est fait maison. Mes enfants y trouvent leur compte & nous aussi. Je suis tres contente d’avoir trouvé ce petit bijou.
