Nous sommes allé souper le 13 juillet. Nous étions un groupe de 16. Nous avions l'étage supérieur. Nous avions reçu un service IN-CRO-YA-BLE de notre serveur Marco. Il était seul pour notre groupe & il a été d'une efficacité sans nom. Il était drôle, gentil, attentionné & super efficace. Nous avions un menu de groupe & c'était super bon. Les drinks sont bons aussi. Nous reviendrons c'est certain. Merci Marco, quelle belle expérience!

How can 1 simple task go wrong after you specified VEGAN & asked all the right questions ( only vegans could understand dining with friends in non vegan restaurants) asked for the salad instead of fries. anyway, my overpriced "BEYOND MEAT". burger arrived with aioli sauce which was the only task I asked aside from salad instead of fries. I canceled the order, one of two waiters came & apologized (yes two , one soulless) said my drink would be free, whatever , my friend asked for one bill , they send over a new waiter with it , big smile friendly , engaging waiter with the other two stood at the bar,( make your own conclusions) lol , while my friend paid the bill, I looked over the details & there it was , charge for the burger. I used to go to "the Saloon " back in the 90s when they made the veggie burger themselves, never will go again ,

La nourriture était vraiment EXCELLENTE. Nous avons partagé la planche de charcuterie en entré avec le brie, tout était extremement frais & de qualité. Bonne portion pour une entré! Comme repas j'ai pris les pennes arrabiata qui était parfaitement épicée & mon conjoint a pris la bavette, la cuisson était bien réussi & les légumes assaisonné & cuit à perfection. Nos drinks était aussi à la hauteur de mes attentes, ils ont une superbe sélection de gin Quebecois & le bloody était encore une fois excellent. De plus que dire du service! Rapide efficace & très courtois. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute!

The service was super fast even though the restaurant was full. Servers were very friendly & the decor was sultry & inviting. My sangria was great & all of my friends enjoyed their drinks. The food was simple yet tasty & very well presented. Make sure you have a reservation because the restaurant looks busy. I would definitely go back:)

Went to The Saloon for a friends birthday. Drinks were delicious, food was just amazing. We were 5 girls & tried a bit of everything - lumberjack platter, baked brie, beet salad, beef tacos & the classic man n cheese. AMAZING!! & our waiter was just awesome!!! A great time was had by all, we will for sure be going back. :)
I never skip going for a dinner at Saloon when I'm in Montreal. It's always the best way to start a night out, food is always great, music is on point & the vibe is always upbeat & fun! I never miss out on the beef tartare & my favourite drink, South Beach! The staff is fun & friendly, & they always remember me! Can't wait to hit the terrace this summer!
