This was the least enjoyable 50$ dinner I've had in Montreal. The ambiance is OK but is completely open to the pass-way within the hotel (a boutique on the other side). The service was actually quite good. The food... I had a Brie fondant for a starter, which was basically walnuts on a pile of brown sugar. You could smell the cheese but all you chew on is sugar & nuts. The only vegetarian option they had was margarita pizza which would be competing with some of the frozen pizzas you get from a grocery store. They do have some remarkable artisan beers, at ~15$. Neither my first nor the second choice was there, but whatever was there, was still pretty good.
Commentaire d'un souper dans le cadre de Montréal à la Table: très bonne nourriture cuite à point, excellent service à un prix abordable. Nous y retournerons sûrement.
All meat dishes I had there (lamb, chicken) were creatively / richly seasoned. Their meats were always of perfect tenderness/impeccable cooking with the greatest ingredients. They have great classics of French cuisine & stand -- in terms of creativity & great food -- among Mtl's finests. Very good!
