Excellente première expérience au goût du bled!! On se croit transporté en Algérie par l'authenticité des plats. Tout était délicieux, frais & savoureux. Le service a été très courtois, on nous a bien expliqué le menu & le contenu des plats. Bons prix aussi! On sera de retour!
On avait trop trop trop faim ..c'était urgent 😅, & franchement, on est tombés sur une équipe en or ! Le cuisinier Nabil a été super gentil avec nous : il nous a préparé un plat délicieux en un temps record,. Un vrai chef, merci infiniment ! & Leticia, la serveuse, juste incroyable ! Souriante, attentionnée, grave gentille. Merci à vous deux pour ce super moment. On reviendra les yeux fermés ! 🙌🍽?✨
Great place for a taste of Algerian food !! Very reasonable prices for what you get. I took the'Assiette du Bled' (frite omelette, brochettes of your choices (6), salad & soft drink) & still got out with a bill under 20$ before taxes which is the equivalent of ordering a Big Mac trio at McDonald's. The waitress was very friendly & service was great .

Douara is the best one I have ever tasted. It melts in your mouth!
The chwa (grilled meat) is well cooked & delicious.
The sardins are tasty, no bones inside.
The servers are very friendly. I will definitely go again!

From the moment I walked into Le Goût du Bled, I felt like I was stepping into a warm, soulful slice of Algeria right in the heart of Montréal. The atmosphere is welcoming, the decor is authentic, & the food… absolutely unreal. Every bite felt like a love letter to Algerian tradition-deeply flavorful, beautifully spiced, & made with genuine heart. As someone who has lives California, I can tell you: food like this simply doesn't exist there.
What truly made this visit unforgettable, though, was Lena, the waitress who took care of me. She was absolutely phenomenal, kind, attentive, & graceful from the second I sat down. She never hovered, just checked in at the perfect times with a warm, genuine smile that added something special to the whole experience.
At one point, she noticed the sun was directly in my face. Without me saying a word, she offered to move me to a cooler, shaded part of the restaurant. I offered to carry my own food & plates, but she kindly declined-insisting I just relax & let her take care of it. That moment said everything about the level of service & heart this place brings.
I'll 100% be coming back-not just for the incredible food, but because of people like Lena who make you feel truly welcomed & cared for. I can't say anything less about the other waitresses, they are absolutely wonderful!
If you're in Montréal & looking for a spot with heart, hospitality, & damn good Algerian food, Le Goût du Bled is it.
