I've been to Café du Théâtre DIX30 numerous times & have always been very satisfied with both the food & the service. Unfortunately, my experience this past Monday, on Labor Day, was very disappointing & far below what I've come to expect from this restaurant.
The service was poor, & the wait for our dishes was unusually long, with very little acknowledgment or communication from the staff about the delay. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. We had to send one of the dishes back to be remade.
Even a simple request for salt & pepper for my eggs was forgotten.
The whole experience gave us the impression that the restaurant may have been operating with a backup or understaffed team for the holiday. I understand that holidays can be challenging for restaurants, but better communication & attention from the staff would have made a big difference.
I'm particularly disappointed because this is a restaurant I've visited several times & have always enjoyed. I hope this was simply an off day & not an indication of a decline in the level of service.

Ça fait quelques fois que je m'y rend. J'adore la terrasse mais la nourriture pourrait être améliorée grandement. Salade qui n'a aucun assaisonnement & sangria à l'eau

Bouffe & service excellent mais soirée plutôt calme. Spéciaux chaque jour de la semaine.
Très occupé les soirées de spectacle en autre temps Très accessible.

Disappointing service. We stopped by for a quick Sunday brunch last week & sat in the patio area, which was busy but not full. Our first warning sign was that our waitress only brought out one glass of water for two guests & seemed confused when we asked for an additional glass of water. We ordered two regular filtered coffees & a croque madame & fifteen minutes later a server dropped off our food. However, no one had bothered to bring us flatware, napkins or our coffees. The server did not seem to notice that there was no flatware on the table & was about to leave us to our own devices, but I stopped him & politely requested forks & our coffees. He kindly brought over some flatware & disappeared to find out the status of our coffees. A few minutes later, the original waitress appeared with the coffees (which were lukewarm) so we assumed that she had spoken with the other server. However, a few minutes after that, I noticed the second server bringing two more coffees to our table. I signaled to him that someone had already brought our coffees so he disappeared again into the main dining room. We never saw our waitress or that second server again, so had to hail a third server to bring us our check. The croque madame was tasty but the customer experience overall was not good at all. I do not plan to return to this restaurant.
