Café du Théâtre is a popular destination, widely appreciated for its beautiful decor, inviting Parisian atmosphere, and vibrant energy. Many guests highlight the high quality of the food, particularly the brunch specialties, duck dishes, and flavorful cocktails. While the restaurant is frequently praised for its attentive, professional, and friendly service, some patrons have noted inconsistencies, occasionally experiencing slower response times or challenges with seating and menu flexibility. Despite differing opinions on pricing and portion sizes, the majority of visitors find the overall experience, characterized by a charming setting and delicious offerings, to be well worth a visit.
Bouffe & service excellent mais soirée plutôt calme. Spéciaux chaque jour de la semaine.
Très occupé les soirées de spectacle en autre temps Très accessible.
Disappointing service. We stopped by for a quick Sunday brunch last week & sat in the patio area, which was busy but not full. Our first warning sign was that our waitress only brought out one glass of water for two guests & seemed confused when we asked for an additional glass of water. We ordered two regular filtered coffees & a croque madame & fifteen minutes later a server dropped off our food. However, no one had bothered to bring us flatware, napkins or our coffees. The server did not seem to notice that there was no flatware on the table & was about to leave us to our own devices, but I stopped him & politely requested forks & our coffees. He kindly brought over some flatware & disappeared to find out the status of our coffees. A few minutes later, the original waitress appeared with the coffees (which were lukewarm) so we assumed that she had spoken with the other server. However, a few minutes after that, I noticed the second server bringing two more coffees to our table. I signaled to him that someone had already brought our coffees so he disappeared again into the main dining room. We never saw our waitress or that second server again, so had to hail a third server to bring us our check. The croque madame was tasty but the customer experience overall was not good at all. I do not plan to return to this restaurant.

The location is nice but that's about it. The service is insanely slow, even with few guests the staff are chatting at the bar. I like my coffee with food but by the time the food comes, my latte is cold. The drip coffee is room temperature & you have to ask them to microwave it if you like hot coffee. The Benedict options are limited. The food is overpriced. A much better, diverse, & fairly priced Breakfast can be found at allo mon, a 10 to 15 walk away, where they have many more options & excellent Benedicts.
Poor service (& she had attitude & poor communication skills…). The food wasn't too bad… A little pricey!!! & if you're from out of town & you you're not fluent in French'good luck'. The surrounding restaurants are much better!
Super service de Yasmine, efficace, avec ces collègues! Belle ambiance sur la terrasse & l'assiette de tartinade de saumon fumé & Avocat, vraiment excellente!
