Restaurant L'Académie, the specialists in Italian and French Cuisines. we came here with a group of 12 friends on a weekend trip to montreal. This is our third time coming to this location & it did not disappoint. everyone loved their food, the servers were very friendly & attentive & it was the start to a really great night. I am sure we will be back again next year!

I just came back from a very disappointed dining experience. I expected a little more food quality from a such overpriced restaurant. The salad was lifeless, the smoked salmon drenched in oil, wasn't eadible...& the bread was a stale pice of white baguette. Serioulsly...great decor, but that was it.

J'ai aimé leurs entrées & leurs pâtes. Par contre, j'ai trouvé que la nourriture était meilleure à l'académie sur St-Denis & je n'étais pas la seule de notre groupe à trouver cela. Le service était correcte & l'ambiance était relaxe.

Il faut manger très rapidemment, je me suis sentie brusquée tout le long de la soirée. Par contre, nourriture excellente. J'ai mangé des pates aux fruits de mer: délicieux. Je conseille ce restaurant pour l'heure du diner, mais pour prendre son temps: à éviter!

Je suis allée a ce restaurant le 4 janvier 2013 & j'ai commnadée des pétoncles grillées. J'ai recue des pétoncles (5) complétement congelées au centre & a peine grillées pour ne pas dire blanches. J'ai racontée cela a la serveuse & elle a gentillement rapporter mon assiette pour la rapporter 2 min utes plus tard. Tout etait chaud, encore crues mais pas plus grillé... Puis je l'ai appelée encore pour lui dire puis je lui aie demandée que je prennait le saumon car c'est plus facile a préparer & je ne voulais pas tomber malade avec les petoncles. Elle va a la cuisine pour la nouvelle commande. 1 minute plus tard, je vois un employé venir vers notre table. Il me dit: "Vous voulez maintement le saumon, vous savez, je perd de l'argent comme ca" "Qu'est ce quelles ont les petoncles?" Je n'en croyait pas mes oreilles. C'est un resto qui marche a la chaine... vraiment a deconseiller!!! Il a ruiné ma soirée & il m'a chargée le prix complet pour mon assiette de pétoncles. Assiettes TROP cheres.
