What a wonderful dining experience I enjoyed this evening for my first visit to this restaurant! Firstly I must say we were warmly greeted by Suzanne. We were seated at a lovely waterfront table. Service was friendly & prompt. Suzanne recommended our wine & we began our very pleasurable dining experience. We started with bread & cheese fondue. The amounts were perfect, as space must be allowed for the rest of the meal. I so enjoyed my Caesar salad, again very delicious & perfectly portioned. The scallops & shrimp were large & we were instructed to cook them for 45 seconds only, with 5 sauces to accompany them. Our evening finished with chocolate fondue with strawberries & bananas. The entire evening was very pleasurable. Fondue is meant to last for a few hours & enjoyed with space between courses. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was perfectly prepared by Suzanne's husband. Truly a labour of love for this couple who own & operate. Clearly young people who are used to fast food joints, will not appreciate such a fine dining experience. I will definitely return & thank Suzanne & her husband for a wonderful dining experience.

What a gem of a place nestled in-between the multitude of terraced restaurants on the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue board walk. To find a cozy & private spot overlooking the waterway & Marina in this popular West Island town is tough to come by, but to not have to battle the flies & gawking passer-bys is a real plus. A nicely air conditioned & quiet table for two with a view is the poetic equivalent of paradise for my wife & I, especially when the temperature outside is 30 degrees C. & it only gets better from there.

First, let me tell you about the owner of 24 years - Suzanne. Someone referred to her as a "crisse de folle" in a previous review. I'm not sure if the reviewer gets out much, but according to my wife & I Suzanne may be a little eccentric & artistic in her ways, but hey this only adds to the unique character of the restaurant which from our perspective is first class all the way. Suzanne was our waitress the entire evening & guided us through the menu making sure that we ate like Kings & Queens.

We started with a cheese fondue, which we dipped pieces of freshly baked baguette into. A great appetizer! Then this was followed by a very nice Ceasar's Salad. A great sampling of fondue dishes followed which included beef, chicken, tiger shrimps & scallops. Absolutely delicious! It was clear to both of us that the quality of the food was next to none. There's something special & appetizing about cooking your own fresh morsels of food in a fondue pot & then savouring them with different sauces afterwards. So simple, yet so gooood!

For dessert we had a dark chocolate fondue in which we dipped fresh fruits such as strawberries, bananas, pineapple, etc. The secret ingredient? Organic honey. Wow!

Also, there is a choice of white & red wines, both by the glass or by the bottle. I was again guided by Suzanne who expertly chose the Carmen Gran Reservo 2009 from Chile. A superb lovely & smooth Cabernet Sauvignon that was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. I also had a very nice Cognac VSOP a la Grange - beats Remi Martin any day!

My wife & I would like to extend a warm & generous thank you to Suzanne & the entire restaurant (her husband is the chef). We not only ate like Kings & Queens, we haven't felt this good in a long long time.

Felicitations on a winning recipe; one which combines great food, a warm ambience, friendly & expert service; a fantastic view & an incredible woman. We will definitely be back soon!

This restaurant was great. We only ended up there by chance; it was a Saturday night & parking was very hard to come by in Saint Anne de Bellevue, so seeing the sign of 'Valet Parking' was great. We parked in front & the valet took our car immediately. I came her with my 76 year old dad, who has been coming here for over three decades.

Upon arriving, we were told we might have to wait about five minutes if we wanted a seat with a direct view of the water. The waitress/owner Suzanne greeted us in French, so no problem there. We were sat down in the back section with the view of the Saint Laurent & immediately approached by one of the waiters. He greeted us in English but my dad decided to order in French, which made the waiter switch languages with no problem.

We ordered the 'Plats au Prince', which was a cheese fondue with a fresh baguette, a caesar salad, the main course of a fondue bourguignonne & a chocolate fondue to finish.

For the bourguignonne, I had shrimp & beef & my dad took the full platter, which was beef, shrimp, chicken & scallops. It was served alongside various dipping sauces such as shrimp cocktail, Russian, teriyaki, carrot & white bean & garlic & parmesan. They were the perfect sauces to go alongside the food.

My only complaint is the service. The waitstaff is polite, but slow. When we first ordered, our cheese fondue came about fifteen minutes later, & our drinks only came about five minutes after that. However, I imagine this would be nice if you were on a date. The entire meal took about two & a half hours, but it was very nice.

As I paid the bill, the waiter went off to tell the man who parked my car to go get it so we wouldn't have to wait once we were outside.

Overall a delightful experience. I plan to come again.
