Nestled away in Hawksebury right near the Ontario/ Quebec border between Ottawa & Montreal, this is a fantastic bakery with good service. The prices are a little higher than expected but well worth the higher quality. Try their éclairs & monster cookies too. Really, everything from foccacia bread to hot chocolate is good from this takeout bakery.
If your lucky, you may encounter a cute cuddly farm cat in the parking lot.
Payment by credit card or such. Be aware. Verify your bill as per description of items. $43. 89 is what should have been posted to my credit card. Not $43.90 as rounding up in a cash payment. I used a super powerful credit card & we pay yearly fee for them card. Certainly not a cash payment. Not surprised, not a returning client. Lost a client. Triste!
My wife & I used to buy eclairs at Montebello, not far from Parc Omega & Gatineau hotel where we use to stay when in Ottawa. This time, have been told that there will be no eclairs since the Company which produces them does not deliver any longer. Not only that, they told us the name of the Company, & we undertook 50 min trip & found this amazing place. Glad we did! They serve excellent stuff, the quality is unbelievable, & prices are very reasonable. Be prepared to spend quite some time in the line, but long drive & long wait are totally justified considering what you get at the end.
I wish we had something comparable in GTA ... sadly, no, not even close.

We had bought muffins & they were huge & looked amazing but when you ate them thrr egg y were not cooked inside. Very disappointed. We tried a different kind & same thing.
