I recently ordered takeout & every dish was filled with cabbage. The seafood soon dubu barely had any tofu or seafood in it. It was all cabbage. The same goes for the jajangmyeon. I'm really disappointed. Before covid, this place was good but now the quality has gone down.
A favourite of my family whenever we visit Montreal. Delicious food, fantastic customer service, & a low-key environment with beautiful ceiling tiles & eclectic decor. I recommend the Dolsot-Bibimbap & the Japchae. Absolutely divine!
I was disappointed with their food. Especially, tteobokki & gamjatang. I have never seen cucumber on the tteobokki as a topping. & the taste was a bit different as usual. & regarding Gamjatang, there was less pork bone meat than usual. So, I would not come back to this restaurant again😭
Good food & ambiance, flavour profile not what I am used to when ordering. Kimchi was just too spicy, miso soup was too strong. The bulgogi was good but I am used to having it with white rice.
Went eating there because it was the other Korean restaurant in the hood, my colleagues were craving Korean food & the Tastet site gave a shill "hypebeast" review on their site (I'll never trust tastet ever again lol). While the service was impeccable (great hard working host!) & the ambiance quite pleasant (we had a great time dining there), the quality of the food was only fair, leaning on average. Their pork belly bbq though was a highlight. Perhaps the high rent of the area prevents the restaurant from providing more protein or higher quality ingredients in their dishes despite the higher than average prices for Korean food of this average quality. Most dishes had a very low amount of protein for the price. Also, their kitchen might have been on the small side since the waiting time for the little food we got is longer than expected. I wouldn't return however, nor do I find this place recommendable sadly. A 3/5 star not to hurt the business but I'd rate this closer to a 2.5.
Nous avons bien mangé. Le restaurant était en désordre & encombré. Service de base, sans plus. Aucune ambiance dans le restaurant; c'était pourtant un samedi soir. Nous avons honoré notre réservation. A part la nourriture, nous n'aurions pas dû y aller vu l'état des lieux.
Photos un peu trompeuses. La cuisine 3 étoiles, sevice très serviable 5 étoiles. On n'y retournera pas, la nourriture n'est pas à l'hauteur des prix. Le restaurant est vieillotte contrairement aux photos dur maps
