Un de mes endroits préférés où manger un repas réconfortant, savoureux & copieux pour pas cher ! Prix bas, service incroyable, toujours bien accueilli, bonne ambiance ! Le japchae surtout est formidable, c'est devenu un de mes repas préférés. Allez-y !!
I was walking around & saw this place. Very welcoming! I said please order something of your choice. He said #11, miso soup & I ordered a Tsing Tao beer. WOW! Sizzling bowl full of colors & great food with kimchee. Fantastic!
Food seems really poor quality. I think it was all old, reheated food. The rice, the chicken, the sides: Everything was disappointing. I realize that running a restaurant is complicated, but I feel like there's no excuse for bad kimchi since that should keep for a very long time. & I'd rather just wait 20 minutes & have fresh rice than eat the rice they reheated in 5. The chicken gave me a stomach ache. I have no idea when they actually made it. I wish I had eaten less of it. Will avoid.
We found this place on google maps & took a chance. We shouldn't have. The place was absolutely empty & the food was not good, & is not siting well. To make matters worse, the owner yelled after every uber driver that came in.

First off we were 4 people, 3 of us ordered the bibimbap & 1 ordered the tofu ragout. I have to say these meals were amazing. Probably one of my favorited bibimbaps in the city! Second, the service was impeccable, the owner is so kind & so generous. It was my friends birthday & he offered us a pitcher of beer. I will be suggesting this place to anyone looking for some tasty Korean food & I will definitely be coming back.
I may not be korean myself but I've had my fair share of good korean food here in montreal & this isn't it ! The food is so disappointing. Tteokbokki is watery & literally tasteless, just pure bland overcooked rice cakes. & the fried chicken is probably more breading than actual chicken in it which is crazy since it isn't even that crispy. Japchae is decent which is why I still give it 2 stars but honestly you're better off ordering somewhere else even if this were to be the only option currently open !

Delicious food & friendly service!! The bibimbap served in the hot stone bowl was everything I needed on a chilly evening. 10/10 recommend, & I will be going back the next time I am in MTL.
J'ai vraiment adoré la qualité de la nourriture & mon service était bien. Cependant je trouvais ça étrange que pour un jeudi soir, mon amie & moi étions les seuls clients. Je ne m'en plains pas parce que c'était vraiment tranquille & cozy. Pour un bon resto coréen hors centre-ville je recommande ce resto!
First of all I love Korean culture! This restaurant gives culture, delicious authentic Korean dishes that soothes your soul & a lovely welcoming service. I ordered the beef Bibimbap & received it in a sizzling hot bowl with a super tasty sweet & spicy home made sauce & of course with kimchiiiii. I highly recommend eating on location but to make sure you have a table reserving in advance is advisable. Can't wait to come back!
