Service was excellent as well. Unfortunately, the food was extremely average despite being quite pricy. Selection was also limited & the portion sizes were small.View more
Good Japanese food, but more fusion than authentic. On the salty side. Portions were generous, & drinks were tasty. The 7 samurai is a must try, & the matcha cheesecake was a great way to end the meal. Overall good experience!View more
J'ai été pour mon anniversaire. Première expérience. J'ai tout adoré. La nourriture étaient fraîche & excellente. J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir. J'y retourne c'est certain! Dans mon top trois de restaurants préférés!View more
We luckily got a table for four on a Saturday night. The place filled up shortly after. Fun menu. The big hits were the tempura prawns, fried calamari tentacles & fried oysters. The service was excellent. I didn't get our server's name. Long hair, green eyes, tattoo sleeve. They have a fun shot glass sake board for birthdays. They also offer free matcha cheesecake for birthdays. Clean & nice bathrooms. They even have mouthwash.View more
Le service était moyen. Les cocktails cher, peu rempli d alcool. Les repas étaient bons, préparés avec soin & originaux. L addition élevée pour la globalité d un repas assez décevant.View more
Staff was wonderful & very helpful & polite. The food was just okay.View more
Unfortunately, significant decline in the quality of service & overall vibe. Previously, exuded the charm & warmth of a traditional Japanese pub, which was a major draw for me & many others. However, during my last few visits, this unique atmosphere seems to have faded. One of the key aspects that seems to be lacking is the relationship-building with customers, which is integral to the Japanese pub experience. The interactions felt impersonal & lacked the hospitable touch that is so valued in such establishments. Additionally, the service was noticeably below par. The staff seemed unengaged & not well-versed in fostering the kind of environment one would expect in a Japanese pub. This change is especially disappointing given the restaurant's survival through the challenging COVID period.View more

The food was okay, definitely had better izakayas in Montreal. But also...the drink where I had to JUICE? my own ORANGE??? Fellas, I don't think this is it,,, I don't think it's the right move for a restaurant with two dollar signs on GoogleView more
I'm sorry, but the food wasn't good 😞 The drinks are fine, but the overall experience was very underwhelming. Was very excited to try but very disappointed.View more
An out of the ordinary Japanese restaurant with a unique twist on its dishes. Although the menu is limited in choice, the chef could have expanded on it. The food is delivered rather quickly. The waiters can use a little more training & some smiles while serving or taking an order. & fix the toilet 😘View more
Great food & good vibes. Feeling full after the ramen & would definitely eat here again. Top picks: ramen & takoyaki Lower picks: green tea cheese cake & karage chicken.View more
Went to Montreal & decided to try this place for some sushi. It's surprisingly open late as well which I liked. We had the best waitress who was full of energy & gave us great recommendations. We got some sushi, ramen, & karage. The karage was amazing & definitely was the best thing there. The sushi & ramen were solid as well. We also got sake bombs which are insane at this restaurant. They have a full set & the waiters basically come & yell sake bomb while you bang your table & the sake that's sitting on the chopsticks falls into your beer. The overall vibe is really nice & was great for a Saturday night out. Would recommend for sure!View more
Horrible experience. Came in to take away a wu gle portion of sushi. After 20 minutes of waiting asked where my order is & they answered another 20 minutes. The least they could do would be to say that take away would be in over than 30min. I ended havi g to cancel the order because I could not get my friends to wait for another 20 minutes ((View more
View more
Authentic Japanese? Sure, love the presence of the cheerful Japanese staff & all, as well as the Japanese/fusion menu selection... but the portion is waaaay too small & a rip off for what you pay for. • The karaage was lowkey bussin but did not expect it to be "few huge pieces" instead of a ton of small ones. • The bibimbap is a scam, barely a cup of rice - other stores sell a more filling bibimbap (Go to McGill Metro it's cheaper). • The cat cup was super cute but don't be deceived because it's literally barely a cup. • Unagi sushi was also all right, but if you're craving for eel, I really think you're better off buying somewhere else. For 50$, it was "all right". I've paid the same amount on fancier Japanese restaurants around town that gave me better food quality & serving. Experience too. Staff that helped us was friendly, good for her. Atmosphere feels like it was tryna give intimate but it's rather packed. Was the only restaurant not full enough on a Saturday evening to host us though so accessible I guess. No diss to the restaurant & the people tho! Just wouldn't come back 💙View more
I went on Wednesday as soon as it opened. The fried calamari was excellent. Their sushis & eil bowl were good as well. They have a big variety of drinks to choose from. I tried a lychee option cocktail with blue caracao, & I absolutely loved it. I will be going again to try the other drinks. Every time I go, I always enjoy the vibe. All the waiters are friendly, especially Vy, who gives me a wonderful top notch A1 service when I go.View more
