First glance table wasnt clean where we are seated. Utensils and plates given to us arent clean, still had some sushi residue and other things. Staff not friendly. Ask this one lady to change our plates, we were constantly ignored & she only noticed when we came up to her. Petty. So if there plates, utensils & tables arent clean, imagine the food they are serving. Food wasnt that great either. When giving you the food you ordered, they would just drop it or slide it on your table. Also, the floor, Im not sure if they know how to broom. Full of fallen food, tissues and place mat. I really think the staff were not thought what is a good customer service.
Qualite: La premiere fois que jy suis aller je m'attendais a manger des bons sushis (bon pas de haute qualite, je sais mais quelques choses de mangeable quand meme) et a ma grande surprise..jetais hyper decu! leur mayo epicee etait a peine epicee, il goutait quesement juste la mayo tout court. Les sushis etaient loins detre bons aussi, ils etaient VRAIMENT basic comparativement aux autres resto de sushi "All you can eat". Malgre cette mauvaise experience que jai eu, jy suis quand meme retourner une 2e fois en esperant que lexperience sera meilleure que la premiere mais rien a changer.
Service: Leur service etait correct. Pas trop nul et rien de "wow" non plus. Ce que jai aimer par contre cest quils nont pas oublier mes petites commandes que je fesais par-ci et par-la.
Ambiance: Jai bien aimer lambiance ainsi que leur decor meme si que cetait assez simple. Au moins jai rien a dire de negatif a ce sujet.
Basically, I'm writing this review for the chinese restaurant within the Kanda Sushi bar, called "Kanda Oriental Fusion (affiliated to Kanda Décarie) 川粤轩".
We used to go to this restaurant often before, but I don't know what happened with the meals and service but the price and quality ratio became unacceptable.
First, the quality of the meals would have been fine if it weren't too salty. The quantity was not enough. The meals were also overpriced.
The staff was not honest, the food they described did not correspond to what we received. The service was minimal, it was extremely slow to receive our order. The waiter also forgot our requests. We had to repeat several times until we were heard.
At the end, we only wanted to pay and leave. We had to wait 30 min for our bill, with several reminders. The waiters were nowhere to be found at one point. We were not happy. They were demanding and asked for more tips. They refused to let us leave until we paid that difference! Finally we gave 15% although we did not believe it was worth that much (out of pity).
We absolutely do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone who would not want to be ripped off.
"All-you-can-eat" deal here is very good, whether it's lunch or dinner . I like their sushi, not much a fan of their szechuan selections though.
Make sure to order only what you can finish, you don't want to pay extra for leftovers. If you have to order for the second time, give them the list 10-15 minutes before you finish the first batch of food you ordered so you don't wait long for your second serving.
In terms of service, my family never had major problems. It's just that when the restaurant is full, the orders may come in a few minutes longer.
We always come back to this place everytime we have craving for sushi.
To food is pretty good and fresh. Probably the best all you can eat/Asian food I've had in Montreal.
However, the service is not good. I'm not asking for 5-star service, I'd be ok with average as I'm still paying for a 28$ meal. They can actually be kinda rude. You can see that they just want to flip the table as fast as they can. They are super eager to take your first order but after they either disappear or bring you the wrong order (aka the fillers). I'm not saying that I won't go back cause the food is pretty good. But I'm hoping that the administration sees this post and maybe change their way of doing business. If it gets worst...
We wanted something different and went in to consult the menu. The place only had 3 tables filled and saw that you can only have the all-you-can-eat sushi for $23.99. Needless to say, we asked if there was a menu a la carte. The hostess rudely pointed "you can go in the basement for Chinese food". The tone was direct and rude. This was the second time we went into this restaurant. And we did not eat either on our first visit.
I looked at the menu on-line and it mentions "all those leaving untouched food will be charged extra".
We turned around and left.
This is our go-to lunchtime restaurant. The sushi here is plentiful and tasty, and the service is quickly to bring or take orders and ensure you don't wait longer than necessary. The fish is of fairly good quality and the rolls offer a good variety of tasty fish and flavours. The restaurant also features a selection of tempura, chinese dishes (think General Tao), dumplings and udon, to ensure that even non-sushi lovers in your party can enjoy themselves.

Cela fait plusieurs fois que j'y vais. Le service est très bien, sachant que c'est un ALL YOU CAN EAT. Le serveur vient régulièrement ramasser la commande. Pour le prix, la nourriture est PLUS qu'excellente. Très contente que l'un des Kanda Sushis soit apporter votre vin. De plus, comme il y a un menu varié (autre que des sushis), il est possible d'amener des amis qui n'aiment pas.
Seul petit hick, certain sushis ne sont disponible que la fin de semaine...Mais bon, on survit avec tout le reste !
Bref, on aime, c'est d'ailleurs à cet endroit que j'irai fêter mon anniversaire.

I'll try to be short and sweet!
I am in my late 30s,and think of myself as a polite, social and nice person! It was my husband's BDay, and it was a surprise party for 18 people in this restaurant. It was reserved in advance! I have asked guests to come at 17h00, and I arrived with my husband at 17h15. When we came in, the first thing I've noticed that my guests were sitted at 2 paralel tables, keep in mind restaurant was empty still and I did not see other tables around being reserved ! First I've asked the waiter to move us all together and to told them that we are here in this place for a first time, pls explain how it works! The response was very rude and in screaming , nervous tone, asking me to confirm how many we are! I've let that go, and confirmed! As it turns out, my friend asked before me restaurant staff to move us all at one table, but they refused, saying ``that's the way you will be seated !`` Later, waiters spilled 4 times sauces and water on my guests coats that were hanging on the chairs,and on guests themselves, on the table, and did not clean it until we asked them to! I've asked the 2nd time to explain how should we order the food, but again to explanation followed! When I asked my friend to help me order it, we gave the order to the waiter, who took it nervously, mumbled something in asian( sorry don't know which language was it), and ran away! Later he came back with an order, again being very rude telling us in arrogant tone of voice that the way we are ordering food is not right! So my evening continued that way, guests were tensed, there was nothing relaxing or enjoying about our evening !
All I can say food was quickly served ( everything was prepaired in advance, although we did not order in advance)! Tasteless!!!! I ate better sushi and dim sum elsewhere! Staff was very young, teenages, who was very rude and not knowing how to provide a good service!
I personally will not go to this restaurant ever and do not recommend to anyone !
The food is acceptable but the service is so bad.
They would always "loose" our order and they would "forget" the expensive food on the list. It took us 30 minutes to order once because the waiters would just run along when we asked them to pick up our order. After ordering 2 times (actually 5 times but we only got 2)and waiting for 2 hours, we just got mad and left with our stomachs empty. I would NEVER EVER go back to this place. The worst service I have ever seen at a sushi buffet.
