PIZZA, PASTA AND SFIZI!

Industria Pizzeria + Bar is a modern pizzeria offering a fusion of authentic and modern Italian cuisine – SFIZI style! What is that ‘S’ word? SFIZI are Italy’s version of tapas or sharing plates. Italians love to share and the plates and portions are designed to do so.

Sergio Mattoscio, Executive Chef of Industria Pizzeria + Bar, has held several chef positions including Chef at Med Grill and Rare. He opened his own restaurant in 2008 which soon became known for his signature gnocchi poutine. Word got out and Manhattan chef Scott Conant offered him a position at Toronto’s Scarpetta, however his love of Montreal kept him here. In 2013, he was a contestant on the TV show Top Chef Canada and soon after he became chef in a new venture, Industria Pizzeria + Bar, in Griffintown.

Our guests enjoy an all around fun and delicious experience in a hip and industrial decor offering a rather progressive concept.

Beware Gluten Free diners. They offer gluten free pasta so I asked our waitress what make of gluten free pasta they serve. She told me they use De Cecco. I was surprised because I didn't know that De Cecco made gluten free pasta so I asked our waitress if she was sure it's gluten free and she assured me that it was and that she too is gluten intolerant so she understood my concern. Because of the few choices for gluten free diners, I ordered pasta.It turns out that DE CECCO DOESN'T MAKE GLUTEN FREE PASTA. The only reason why I checked was because of the turmoil going on in my stomach. Thank God I'm not celiac! This restaurant should really take any food intolerance seriously! I'm never going back!

This restaurant has the most unique and most interesting decoration and style that I have ever seen. It reminded me of my childhood in Italy.
The food was DELICIOUS and the portions were very BIG but the prices were very LOW. My 2 friends and I enjoyed our dishes so much, we are definitely going back for more. The service was also EXCELLENT !

Went to eat here last night with 3 friends. The restaurant was completely full and unfortunately service was a little slow however our waiter was really nice and apologized for the delay due to big groups. Regardless of that, the restaurant itself is really nice. We had the fried calamari, tartar bombs, salad and 3 pizzas and everything was delicious! Definitely going back!
