?My wife & I visited on a Monday evening around 6:00 PM. They have a very nice'Steak & Date' offer where you pay $49 per person for a full-course meal: an entrée, a main course, dessert, & a glass of wine each.

?The service was great. Our water glasses were always kept full, & the staff checked on us regularly without being overbearing. The food arrived on time & at the right temperature, served on warmed plates. We were also offered salt & pepper.
?Overall, the dining experience was good.
Food
?For the entrées, we ordered the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail (poached shrimp, pico de gallo, avocado, Mexican-style cocktail sauce, & tortilla chips) & the Salmon Tartare (fresh salmon, avocado, cucumber, sesame, mango, tempura, lime & coriander vinaigrette, & taro chips). Both dishes were delicious. I had never tried taro chips before, but I highly recommend them.
?For the main course, we chose the Flank Steak (served with fries & vegetables on the side) & the Miso Roasted Salmon (miso-marinated salmon, parsnip purée, sautéed spinach, pickled red onions, & parsnip chips).
?The fries & vegetables were great, but the steak lacked flavor. This was partly my fault for ordering it medium-well, but if you decide to order the steak, definitely accept their offer of salt & pepper!
?If you are thinking of ordering the salmon, be aware that they might run out of it. This happened to us, but they offered to substitute it with cod, which tasted very good. I really disliked the parsnip purée, however. It is a matter of personal preference, but I found it too sweet, & it did not pair well with the cod. I was also not a big fan of the kale, which I usually like. The pickled red onions, on the other hand, were good.
?For dessert, we ordered a crème brûlée & a brownie with ice cream on top. Both were very good, although I wish the brownie had been served warmer.
Atmosphere:
?The place has a casual, café-like vibe. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, save for a few elderly patrons, the occasional family or couple, & a man in sweatpants just relaxing. The TVs were turned off, & they had some nice pop music playing in the background.
?Overall, it is a solid place for a casual date. The meals can be a bit pricey for what you get, so I highly recommend taking advantage of their promotions if you decide to go.
Nous allions fêter l'anniversaire de ma fille & nous étions 10 personnes dans un restaurant rempli à 25% de sa capacité. Un petit mardi soir quoi !!! Nous sommes arrivés à 18h40 & bien que quelques personnes aient pris des entrées, les repas principaux ont commencé à être servis à 20h10. Nous n'avons pas été servis tous en même temps comme ça aurait dû être. Mon fils & moi étions les deux derniers à être servis & nous avons dû attendre que le serveur termine de servir une autre table avant d'être finalement servis. En tout & partout, ça aura pris au moins 12-13 minutes pour servir toute la table. Une chance que le resto n'était pas plein. J'ose à peine imaginer ce que ça aurait été. J'ai préféré mette un commentaire sur cette plate-forme plutôt que de réduire le pourboire des serveurs.
MEGGY!!! Quel service impeccable à chaque fois. 2 fois par année nous allons dîner pour souligner le début des vacances avec nos employés & depuis 4 ans je la demande toujours car elle est génial avec les groupes. Souriante,dynamique, rapide & en parfait contrôle de son service Meggy ce distingue aussi par le fait que d'une fois à l'autre elle se souvient de nos boissons préférées, elle est vraiment plaisante & agréable ce qui fait que nous l'aimons tous dans notre petite groupe.
