Arrived around 6:30. Still in happy hour. Ordered two drinks. Drinks were fine and arrived fast.
While having our cocktail they started delivering food before we had finished our cocktail. We should have told them to wait so this was our oversight.
Soup and main meal arrived before cocktails were done. Not sure if we should order wine although our meal was half complete.We ordered wine.
No bread or water was offered.Should we have asked?
Meal portions were ok. Maybe a bit to the larger size. Vegetables were cooked properly but with a bit too much butter. My wife ate 1/2 her meal. My roast beef was perfect. Definitely their strength and why we were there in the first place.
Steamed veggies were not offered. Both our meals were high in salt. Especially the sauces.
Dessert was good.On check-out waiter invented a happy hour story and why we did not apply to get any discount even though we arrived before happy hour ended. Very political story and I'm not a lawyer. Paid in full.
Take away. Not on preferred restaurant list.Will try again in one year.I suspect they will be better by then.

I went to Houston's new location for supper with my parents. I've previously eaten at both of their Montreal locations, so I figured I'd give the new one a try. My parents ordered a burger and ribs and enjoyed both immensely. I ordered the filet mignon and salmon poke bowl. The poke bowl was fantastic. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare, but was basically completely raw inside, so I had to return it for further cooking. The veggies for the side were not bad, but were not anything special. Lastly, the menu listed potatoes as a side, but it came with a salad. The salad was pretty good, so I didn't fuss over that. I had the carrot cake for dessert, at the recommendation of our waiter, and it was amazing!

While the food fell a bit short, in my opinion, the service was impecable. Our server Claude was very attentive, kept checking in on the table, and seemed very comfortable chatting with customers. My overly rare steak was promptly handled by the kitchen and came back with a refill for my salad. Drinks were refilled constantly and Claude was never far should we have needed something.

The bathrooms were extremely clean and well maintained. The ambience and decor of the restaurant is very nice, but the music was a tad loud.

Overall, I'd chalk up some of the shortcomings to being a new location. It seems that undercooking meats is a reoccuring issue in the comments, but their service appears to have improved greatly since some of the older reviews. Id be willing to try it again in the future. One other recommendation I'd make, though probably the brand's fault, is the fairly limited menu with consists of mainly steak and burger appetizers.

Nous avons manger le 02/08/2017 des cotes levé probablement preparer le matin et réchauffée le soir très sec .Et personne s'est informer si les cotes étais bonne .Le repas servi on ne vois plus les serveuses ils on peur des commentaires. A la fin on leur dit que les cotes levé étais sec et cela leur semble normal . Nous avons payer notre facture. Nous ne mangerons plus a ce restaurant

We were hesitant in trying this restaurant because of the reviews we had read. The interior of the resto is very nice, music a tad too loud, service was OK, not great. To many waitress`s always congregating around there stations….rare to see up to 5 waitress`s all standing and chatting and readjusting there tight dresses…poor girls, I guess they are obliged to wear such tight fitting clothes. There station was right next to our table.
The menu is limited and quite expensive for what it is. We ordered burgers, my wife ordered well done….it arrived rare….they took it back to the kitchen and it came back medium rare….the appetizers and meals all arrived at the same time….
I wish them luck…but I can`t see the place surviving, hopefully with time, the food and service will improve.

Bonjour, je suis allé pour la première fois hier avec ma famille. Ce fut une terrible et très mauvaise expérience.
Nous avions réservé une baquette pour 18h00. Assis à la table, ma fille et mon épouse remarque beaucoup d'eau sur le sol. Je me lève et explique à une serveuse qui me répond "va le dire au bossboy qui est juste là !!! " oh boy, ça commence. Le petit gars vient avec une vadrouille "nettoyer" et laisse plein de riz sur le sol... on demande à changer de place. Nous étions assis à une table ronde. C'est tellement bruyant ce restaurant que je n'entendais pas bien ce que mon épouse disait (assise en face de moi) .
La PREMIÈRE chose que je commande est une bouteille de vin rouge le Valpolicella Classico Zenato --> le serveur me dit qu'ils n'en ont pas !!! Je me suis rabattue sur le Sangiovese Riserva Pourtant, c'est sur le menu et le resto est ouvert depuis moins d'une semaine. Le cirque se continu...
Ma fille commande un steak au poivres New York et demande une cuisson "medium-bien cuit"... après 3 bouchées, sont steak est tout rouge !!! Bravo mes champions du steak... Une de mes filles demande un "refill" de thé glacé... elle ne l'a JAMAIS eu!!! Pour le dessert, ma fille demande un "mi-cuit" --> le serveur me dit ENCORE qu'ils n'en ont pas !!! ben c'est une farce. De plus, derrière nous, il y a une grande vitre au bar tout sale et avec du "tape". Au plafond, il manque des tuiles... pour couronner le tout, on demande notre facture (car on ne nous demande pas si on veut un café ou du thé). Le serveur nous explique qu'il y a des problèmes d'ordinateur. Ok, ça peut arriver. Mais, 10 minutes plus tard, on redemande si une facture manuelle est possible pour quitter. Le tout a pris 35 minutes !
Et finalement, un des propriétaire s'excuse et nous offre un rabais de $20. Avant de quitter, nous avons discuté avec un couple d'ami (2 personnes et NOUS 4) qui ont reçu un rabais de $20; soit le MÊME que nous avec un facture de 4 personnes. Il me semble qu'un certificat cadeau aurait été de mise...
