Our server was Theo. He had a table of 18 in addition to ours. He was nothing short of amazing. Restaurant is SUPER busy but is so well run you can't help but sit back & enjoy show put on by the wait staff. The food was excellent & brought out with perfect timing Make the effort to try this place. You won't be sorry.View more

Had a late dinner here after the eclipse. They welcomed our party & we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Lots of excellent choices on the menu. Seafood, meat, vegetarian....good appetizers & desserts as well as a good selection of wines & other choices from the bar. It was lively without being loud & service was stellar. Ça fait maintenant 10ans que je côtoie le restaurant & définitivement le holder reste mon restaurant préféré de mes pauses lunch en extérieur dans le quartier pour son rapport qualité/prix dans sa catégorie. After driving 7 hours to arrive in Montreal, I dropped in here for dinner. The bar staff were welcoming & friendly. They helped me with my French & Quebecois. I had the frisée salad, steak frites, & crème brûlée. All were excellent. I came back the next night for dessert with a date. More creme brûlée & the butterscotch cake. Again another phenomenal experience. PS: so glad I skipped 5 guys. I was so tired & ready to just do takeout. LOL!View more
Really great restaurant. It was 9pm when we were looking for a restaurant & were turned away at many other restaurants. The hotel called Holders & they could accommodate us. When we walked in the doors they greeted us & were really friendly. Lori our server was so great. Really friendly & super helpful. We really enjoyed the French onion soup, it was light & very flavorful. The veal strip special was so flavorful, I loved the cauliflower & turnips. Highly recommend this restaurant for good food & even better serviceView more

Food very good if you ordered it but service was lacking. The server assumed that we wanted steak when we wanted duck. The server also had it well done when we preferred rare (like everyone else at the table). Due to lack of time, we accepted the steak but it spoiled our appetite & desire to stay.View more
