Awesome bakery with unique products & some of the classics. The chocolate chunk biscottis are delicious (to be noted: not Italian kind). Also the challah. I've tried many of their products over time. Today the pesto pizza & latte with coconut milk def didn't disappoint! :-)View more
Great bread. So so service. Half the time they give me my bread slices in different sections in a bag instead of looking like a whole bread. How hard is it to bag bread correctly. It's a bakery for crying out loud!View more
Oui c'est très bon & la place est sympa. Toutefois j'y viens chaque fin de semaine & je suis toujours surprise de la froideur de l'accueil. Si la place était bondée je pourrais comprendre le stress, mais bien souvent c'est très calme. Vraiment dommage.View more
View more
Le café ainsi que leurs viennoiseries sont toujours très bons. Le babka au chocolat est délicieuxView more
The quality of the breads are decent, but the pastries are mediocre. More frustrating are the wild prices of the pastries - an almond croissant is a whopping $5.20 (tx incl). If you want croissants of incredible quality & a third of the price(!), just walk down the street to Kouign Amann.View more
Loved stopping in here. Was excited to see Borscht on the menu & it did NOT disappoint. Being from Ukrainian descent, I've eaten a fair amount of borscht, however, I've never tried a version with what seemed like pickled beets. It was phenomenal with the pickled beets - Hof's borscht is thick & has a tinge of vinegar & was served with sour cream on top (so they know what they're doing). Will be back for the borscht for sure. We also tried the cheese danish which was awesome, the homemade iced tea (which my husband describes as tasting like jelly beans), & bought a loaf of challah to bring home (which also paired well with the soup!). The coffee was unfortunately underwhelming for me, a bit too acidic for my personal preference. The interior of the space is a bit industrial yet cozy, it was nice to pass some time on a rainy day with a coffee & soup. Will absolutely be back.View more
Hands down, one of the best croissants in all of Montreal. The bonus was the incredibly smooth Late to wash it down with. It's the simple things that show that you are the best.View more
Very innovative, absolutely not what my grandma would make traditionally, but they're creative & very good. Love their knish, cheese breads, cheese danishes with jalapeno jam. Absolutely love their babka (the only complaint about their babka is that it's hard to remove the parment paper lining). They do tend to run out of things fast, so make sure to check with them if you plan to come in the afternoon. No toilets available for customers. Some staffs are cold, but I come there for the baked goods.View more
One of the best bakeries in Montreal. Excellent bread & croissants, & always new products to try. One of my favourites is the all-dressed croissant baked with cream cheese inside.View more
Nouveau café préféré. Ambience & musique sympas. Bon chai latte. Essaie le sandwich Gravlax.View more
Absolutely superb! Everything was beyond expectations. The amandine was so perfect it cannot have existed. The coffee was clean, complex, but still fairly caramelly for a third wave cup. The barista didn't just hate me, she was clearly astrally projecting while I was talking. 10/10. I've always liked montreal, but now I'm strongly considering moving there on a stolen snowmobile if/when Trump steals the 2024 election!View more
Really good bread, great coffee, & nice croissant type desserts...relaxing atmosphere midday!!View more
Best croissant in Montreal - buttery, flaky, crisp outside, airy layered inside, perfect weight to it. Just perfect.View more
