Food was excellent, restaurant was clean & quiet, service was fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious, generous portions for a very reasonable cost. We were treated with nothing but warm hospitality, even as a party of 5 at late hours, & I will never forget the thoughtful complimentary dessert! Absolute gem of a restaurant. Enjoying a leisure stroll along St. Denis street one evening, with no particular place to go, we stopped into a local Indian resto at the northern end of the main commercial part of the street (just south of St. Joseph). It was a quiet evening & we were the only patrons (though it was early). The decor & style of the restaurant is very basic with hints of India decorating the walls & ceilings & maybe a bit too bright. The menu is extensive & all traditional Indian options are available. We opted for a Dal Soup (ok...surprisingly with a bland flavor), Butter Chicken (good), Chicken Tikka Masala (good), Shrimp Biryani Rice (good), Paneer Makhani (good...but very similar to the butter chicken dish with minimal difference in taste) & garlic naan (good). Je suis fortement impressionnee par la carte de menu! Tout est bon 🙂La fermeture a lieu a 4 du matin, si vous avez une fringale, pendant la nuit, c est la qu il faut aller! Le personnel est cordial. Ils ne parlent pas français, mais si vous pointez du doigt ce que vous voulez, ils comprendront. C est ridicule de quitter un resto parce que le personnel ne parle le français...
