The owners serve you themselves, always super attentive , everything is clean. My happy place on Sundays :)

We, six clients paid the meal for the person celebrating their birthday which was 33$ plus .79 for the tea, thus 33.79, taxes around $5, equals 38.79. We were 6 persons paying 38.79 & charged $9.79 each, time 6 persons, $58.79 therefore we paid $22 extra by sharing to pay for one meal! The majority gave a 10$ tip per person! Check your bill! Charged $22 extra to share the birthday meal! Ripoff!

Première fois dans ce restaurant. Nourriture excellente. C'était full house, on avait pas de réservation & on a été assis quand même. Un peu d'attente pour la nourriture mais la serveuse & le staff était rassurant & malgré le volume, très efficace. Faut vraiment aller dans un fast food si on est pressés surtout un samedi soir à l'heure du souper.

J'ai entendu le propriétaire ou gérant parler à une dame qui a fait une commande de some sort of big pieces of meat & quand ils ont étaient prêts elle s'est levé pour partir. Il était très courtois. Elle criait. Son mari essayait de la calmer. Elle avait un jeune enfant avec elle, qui a probablement perdu patience mais c'est un resto'apportez votre vin' donc un resto pour relaxer & prendre son temps. Pas nécessairement adéquat avec un jeune enfant. Il y avait suffisamment de staff btw. Will comme again.

After 3 years, the food has definitely improved. I had the Chicken Sante Fe today & the flavours were great. The slight sourness complemented the flavours of the grilled chicken amazingly. The portions were pretty great as well for a plate which is around 20-25$. I do feel like the protein portion is a bit small though for the price. The atmosphere is quite lively which makes it nice but the noise level is a bit high so it's not so easy to talk. The service was fine. They were polite & friendly but after guiding us to our table, it took close to 15 minutes before someone brought us some water. Two employees were just chatting at a table & the others were sort of ignoring us.

I am not a big fan of their fried calamari rings since the breading was too soft & not really adding flavours to the seafood. It just felt like eating calamari, I didn't feel like it was fried. Also, I find it quite expensive for the portion given. On the other hand, I really enjoyed their Gyro plate. The portion was matching the price & the flavours were great. I especially liked the slightly charred chicken giving the extra charred flavours which complemented the dish very well. Some would say it's a bit burnt, but I did enjoy it. Another thing I enjoyed was their pita bread & their crispy fries. The rice was less appealing to me because they lacked a bit of flavour & some grains had a hard texture as if it was still a bit raw. Even though I really enjoy my carbs, 3 different main carbs is a bit too much for me. I wish they would balance the meal out a bit with some vegetables, it would make the meal lighter & more enjoyable in my opinion.

Expérience extrêmement décevante - à éviter le samedi soir

Nous sommes extrêmement déçus de notre expérience au restaurant Gyro. Nous étions placé à 17h30, avec une commande à 17h40 & n'avons reçu notre repas qu'à 19h, après avoir dû relancer la serveuse plus de cinq fois. L'attente était excessive, au point où nous étions sur le point de quitter le restaurant.

L'établissement était clairement débordé : trop de clients, pas assez de serveurs ni de personnel en cuisine pour assurer le service. Malgré cela, ils continuaient d'accepter des commandes pour emporter, alors qu'ils n'étaient déjà pas en mesure de gérer les clients sur place.

Le plus choquant reste l'attitude du propriétaire, qui n'a offert aucune excuse & a répondu de manière irrespectueuse : « je m'en fous, tu prends en take out ».

Service désorganisé, manque de professionnalisme & absence totale de considération pour les clients. Nous ne recommandons pas.
