Relaxing atmosphere at lunch & a fun vibe in the evening. Decor & music fitting of latinamérica. Service has always been quick on my visits, even with larger groups. Now if you are a Latino & are expecting a Mexican style taco similar to what you tried in Mexico City choose something else as they are not the same style. The tacos you find here are more of a Tex-Mex taco. If you want something more authentic to Mexico, try the enchiladas. On my latest visit I tried the lamb burrito which is also Tex-Mex. It was accompanied by beans & a salad which were both very satisfying, The burritos are cut in two & so you can always easily bring one half home. They would also make a decent order to-go meal. For the drink I recommend the Mai Tai. Now if you want something sweet to eat at the end of your meal try some churros with hot chocolate. Give them a try, especially if you've never had any. They are originally from Spain but are also very popular desserts in the former Spanish colonies such as Mexico, Peru & Panama.Voir plus
Love the decor & ambiance. Our waiter (can't remember his name) was very friendly, attentive & served us very quickly.
The food was delicious, starting with the complementary salsa & chips, right to the end, with the tasty churros!
Blue Sangria is very tasty, & full of fruit. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!
My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday with friends at Guaca & Mole near the Marché de l'Ouest. The service was great, the food was delicious & made with quality ingredients, & the ambiance is warm & features an elegant Mexican-style decor. It's a perfect place for casual meals, cocktails & appetizers, or fun evenings out. I recommend Guaca & Mole.
Beau décor. J'ai pris un cocktail au melon d'eau très bon. Le poulet poblano & celui aux avocats étaient délicieux. Ce n'était pas ma première visite & surtout pas la dernière.
The staff was incredibly friendly, the dining room was clean & had great decor, the food was fairly priced & delicious. Not to mention the margaritas were awesome!
Excellent evening with friends . Dinner & service was amazing ! Love the decor too!
Great drink menu & amazing food. Beautiful decor & ambiance! Everyone needs to come down & support this great restaurant !!! I'll definitely be back 🍹
The food was delicious, love the decor. Will be back for sure!
Great service, excellent food, really different & trendy decor! Great new hot spot for west island, we needed a great Mexican resto like this!
Super bon! Les serveurs charmants! Peut-être il faudrait chauffer les chips avant & changer le riz. Sinon le décor est beau avec une ambiance calme.
We went to the New Mexican restaurant in the west Island that everyone is talking about my boyfriend & our friends.
We read the reviews too about the restaurant before going , still with all the negative reviews we wanted to try it.
Ah my god. When we went it , I was attracted by the nice decor, all the vibrant colours .
Then we tried different appetizers , ceviche was good the tuna was amazing . Then we took the lamb chunk, the chicken with mole sauce. They were all even nicely presented & very delicious.
Came the time for dessert : oh my god we took four different ones & we shared. It was out of this world.
Then we asked the waiter about the chef, we were told the chef & the manager are real Mexican but not the owner.
Really it was a very nice gourmet experience & the musique lets you feel you are in Mexico on the beach with their tasty lime margarita .
I guess everyone should try it , & have their opinion about the restaurant & not Listen & read the opinion of others who has nothing else in their life & give stupid opinion about restaurants.
What an amazing restaurant!!!
The food was really amazing, generous portion size, authentic with a twist!
Delicious flavours.
The service was great, friendly enthusiastic staff & very knowledgeable bar tender.
The decor is spectacular, all of the details well attended to down to each beautiful dish!!
Loved it overall, will go back for sure.
awesome to have a great Mexican place in the west island!
I brought my family to this restaurant for my father's birthday, the food was excellent. I had a taco tataki & calamaries & they were excellent. Other dishes we ordered were the fajitas, the lamb shank & the ceviche, all were pleased. Also I had a massive drink called the bulldog which was excellent!
The service on the other hand lacked a bit. We could tell that the staff was new & some were lost but we could tell that they cared very much for the service they offered. We were asked by many waiters & busboys if everything was ok many times, which made up for their lack of experience.
My father was treated to dessert for his birthday & my sister got herself a cheesecake. The churros were good & my sister seemed pleased about the cheesecake.
Great ambiance, decor on point & good music!
One of my favorite restaurants in the west island
This restaurant is very spacious & was able to accommodate our group of 50 people. The decor is lovely & the drinks are fun & tasty. The restaurant was noisy when the music was on & it was difficult to talk. The staff was kind enough to turn down the music for us. The staff was helpful. The food was good & it was all in all a great evening. Thank you!
Really cute restaurant with great fun decor & a good balance between dinning room & bar. The drinks were amazing with lots of garnish. The food was okay. Missing a bit of that spicy, lime freshness you may expect from Mexican food. I'd try again once they tweak the menu. Music & atmosphere was cool
Beau décor, excellent service, nourriture assez moyenne.
Unfortunately, despite the trendy decor, & polite service, the food lacked any flavor. We surprised at how under-seasoned & underwhelming the meals were.
Very nice decor, pleasant atmosphere
As for the food;
The salsa was seriously lacking flavour
The corn chips were stale. Suggestions; warm them up In the oven to 'revive the crunch'
The guacamole was terribly blend & lacking the flavours of key ingredients: lime & cilantro
The main dishes while nicely presented were lacking flavour & spices
Price point reasonable
Nice to have a new Mexican place in the West Island again. Location is great, parking is easy, restaurant bright & airy without the typical cheesy Mexican 'decor', seating is original & comfortable, the place has everything going for it to become an 'it' place but...
... Music is way too loud: can hardly hear each other sitting across the table from each other
... Service was interminably long: got our drinks & appetizers within 15 minutes when restaurant was empty, but as it was filling up, it took approx. 40 minutes for the waiter to come back to take our orders which were served somewhere between warm & hot, about 35 minutes later (we had been seated 90 minutes by then). We had to wait another 20 minutes or so after having finished our meals for the waiter to come check in on us. We were not offered coffee or dessert, nor we would have been willing to wait around for them. By the time the bill was paid & we walked out, we had been in the restaurant for 2:35 hours!
... Menu is a modern mix between traditional Mexican & modern (ex: ceviche sushi!) which is refreshing, but disappointing if you were hoping for some authentic fare. As for the dishes's execution, presentation was nice, but flavors & seasoning is off (2 orders of guacamole were too salty - should be more lime & just a pinch of salt - Piña Colada was sickeningly too rich & sweet, chicken tacos were a complete mess of blandness while the chipotle steak & vegetables was a delight.)
... Staff seems overwhelmed with waiters serving all areas of the dining room at ones (rather than sections), could not explain their dishes well (is the chicken molé, red or green molé? euh... let me check).** we were asked not to push the authentic Mexican plates on the table so as not to scratch the tables !
As mentioned above, this place has everything to make it a cool place to dine, but a few weeks into its existence, it seems to be unprepared to deliver the level of experience that will make people go back. I certainly hope they get a handle on things very quickly because I want to try out a few more items on the menu.... & I hope the next time will be better, otherwise there will not be a 3rd... sadly.
