Loved the atmosphere & our server was very attentive. However, the avocado toast was a small portion, & for the price, I expected it to be served on made in house bread, rather than a basic piece of rye toast. There was a lack of finishing on the toast, no cracked pepper, olive oil drizzle etc, just a sliced up avocado on a piece of toast.
A very solid family dinner. Food options were varied & our choices certainly good. Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. A quiet atmosphere, which was nice for conversation. We were not bothered at all by the bar patrons.
Gazette restaurant brunch: The brunch at the Gazette restaurant was well worth it. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive & was lovely to talk to. She got our orders correct & was quick to get our drinks & food. The restaurant staff was professional & courteous & I'd recommend getting brunch there. Very kid friendly.
I decided to eat here for lunch. The Yellow Fin Tuna Poke Bowl was really good. It's a good healthy option. I had the Club Sandwich & it was pretty good but my only complaint is that the bread was crunchy & not the best. It's also worth noting that both of those dishes are not hot dishes. My favorite was the Calamari. The Calamari was amazing. Not much I can say about it.

For a hotel restaurant this place is very good. The staff are super friendly & even when they are crazy busy they try hard. Had breakfast here & it was very good. The beer is cold & the cocktails well crafted.
Le restaurant est fort sympathique, la musique toujours très agréable. Le personnel est franchement au top, très gentil, toujours aux petits soins. Merci à Dianne & toute l'équipe pour votre bonne humeur & vos bons conseils!!!

The restaurant has a nice decor & ambiance. On a Friday night the restaurant was not busy & considering what we experienced that is no surprise. Unlike some hotel restaurants whose amazing offerings make it a destination for locals, I can't imagine this restaurant so close to so many alternatives would ever be. We started with French Onion Soup. It was served appropriately. The cheese was good, the onion soup a little too sweet (but I accept that some would like that), & the bread was crunchy but tasted old / stale (which I can't imagine people would like). I had a rotisserie chicken which was plated attractively. The chicken came out slightly on the dry side. The rosemary was not the strong ingredient in the Rosemary Cabernet Sauvignon sauce making this a sort of rich & sweet sauce. The pairing of ingredients was unique. Somehow the nuts did enhance the combination but overall I wouldn't recommend this dish. We also had a burger & a Caesar salad. The burger was average but the Caesar salad surprisingly was done with a proper dressing that had a light anchovy flavor. The croutons were not stale (unlike the bread in the French Onion soup) & had an appropriate garlic flavouring. Too light on the cheese in the salad though. The burger was good. Chocolate lava cake was well plated & had a nice chocolatey flavour with fresh raspberries, whipped cream, & other milk & white chocolate crumbles around it. It was a bit on the small side compared to other chocolate lava cakes or chocolate souffles you might get. It was semi-warm but not the oozing warm to hot chocolate you might expect. Service was below average which shouldn't have been the case considering the restaurant wasn't that busy. The only saving grace was that the bar tender would sometimes see that we were bored & not being served & step out from the bar to backfill for the waiter. We timed how long it took to get the bill... it was over ten minutes. In summary no items got 5/5. If I had only a burger, Caesar salad, & chocolate lava cake at the bar I might have given this restaurant a 4/5. But French Onion soup shouldn't go wrong, chicken should be moist, lava should be hot, & service would be prompt.
I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the brand it is associated with. However, we order a take away meal to relax in our room with. The process for this is to give the order to the hostess to deliver to a server & then wait & the server bring the food to you ready to go. Upon returning to my room they did not have the chicken in the Cajun chicken Caesar salad. I had to call down a nd wait an extra 15 minutes to eat. My son's burger was burnt & my chicken, when it was finally ready, was very dried & not seasoned. I was charged 11 dollar gratuity & had below average food.
Wonderful time dinning at this establishment. The music playing was very festive & the staff were very friendly. They provided recommendations that were very good. A great place for groups or couples looking to enjoy the evening's entertainment.
Beautiful restaurant a couple of friends & I tried for the first time for MTL à Table this year. The environment was nice, the tables are not too close to each other so you get pretty decent privacy. The areas are separated by walls so it is not too noisy either. The food was delicious & everything was very flavourful. Our waiter was hilarious, sassy, & classy. He joined in on our conversations (appropriately) & even told us about the history of the restaurant & its staff. Most staff has been there for 10+ years so not high turnover rate. That speaks volumes. We will definitely be returning! Pro-tip : You can park in the hotel for free for up to 2h. PS: Anthony takes THE best pictures I have ever seen. ;)
Super restaurant On y est allé pour l'événement Montréal à table & le menu était vraiment diversifié & très bon ! Mention spéciale pour la super serveuse dont j'ai oublié le prénom qui m'a gentiment rempli un peu plus mon verre de vin !
