Fu Chun Soupe Dumplings is widely praised for juicy, flavorful soup dumplings and authentic Shanghai noodles, with generous portions and very reasonable prices contributing to an overall impression of good value; the service is described as warm and attentive in a cozy, welcoming space, making it a beloved if occasionally busy spot. A few reviews note hiccups like slow service during peak times, attempts to push tipping, or occasional inconsistencies such as overly salty pork, bland vegetarian dumplings, or dumplings that break or lack broth, but these are few compared with the many glowing mentions of quality and homemade feeling. Overall, the restaurant is viewed as a true find in Montreal, a go-to for dumplings and noodles with frequent praise for the crab and pork or sweet pork xiao long bao, spicy noodles, and peanut sauce noodles.
Food is delicious. Dumplings, Wontons, noodles… everything we tried was great. Our waitress was so kind & friendly. We had a great time. The ambience is quiet & enjoyable :)
The place is quite small could probably adapt 20 persons. So if you come at the rush hour, be ready to wait for the seats. Make sure you get the shrimp soup dumpling, it was really good & the scallion oil noodle as well
Order on Uber eat & was very surprised the food is very good & the prices are not too high! The noodle, & dumplings were very fresh! I will definitely go in person & re order from there!

Food is really good but service is really poor. I rarely write negative reviews but this was some of the worst service ive experienced. Got handed a bottle of water upon seating with no glasses, waiter took forever to take my order, & when the food came i had to grab plates, spoons, cups & napkins from another table myself. There was only 1 other table occupied. The thing that dumbfounded me was they were literally replacing the cutlery & dishware for other tables after being seated but chose to ignore mine for some reason. The soup dumplings are good, particularly the crab & pork one but the top pleats is a bit doughy. Filling to soup ratio is perfect. Too bad the service left a poor impression.
I had the juicy pork & pork & shrimp soup dumplings. They were delicious & well portioned. The cucumber salad was also nice, but I would have preferred it to be marinated longer to soak up the flavor. Service was quick, & we were not rushed during our meal. The prices were good, making this an excellent place to grab lunch. We will be back.

Really good, except half of soup dumplings were so cooked that they were stuck to paper & ripped open. So half of dumplings were soupless. Hoping this is fixed soon, would love to return!
Fuchun's menu is a delightful blend of traditional & contemporary dishes, with dumplings being the star of the show. The Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) are filled with rich broth. Each bite bursts with a blend of flavors. The menu is diverse, offering a range of options from noodles, wontons to crispy spring rolls. Whether you're a fan of dim sum or looking for a hearty meal, Fuchun is the place to be! 🥟🍜

A nice restaurant with some traditional shanghai style dishes. The soup dumplings & the pan fried dumplings are pretty good. But the deep fried pork chops & the spring roll are very inconsistent. Sometimes the pork is juicy & fresh, sometimes is like eating deep fried sponge. Wish the owner can keep the consistency & not over freeze their pork.
The duck was very tasty. However it was cold, which at first was kind of weird. I think they should warn people about this. We also tried the sweet pork dumplings. They were tasty, but a little bit sweet for me. The place is very nice, well decorated. Feels very immersive into the Chinese culture. Would come back to try new things.
A nice & cute little gem. Very delicious dumplings! My favorite surprise was the hairy crab & porc dumpling (didn't even know what a hairy crab was prior to this). Highly recommend! A busy place. So if you are a big group of people, be patient.
