Good spot to visit for tourists, as they speak English. The bagels here are very good. They only take cash or debit over 10 dollars.Voir plus
I stopped in as my travel companion wanted to bring bagels home from our visit to Montreal. It was busy on a beautiful Sunday morning, & there was a small lineup going up the ramp to the front door. A five (or so) minute wait later, we got to the front of the line to place our orders. I chose a dozen all-dressed (everything) & a dozen garlic. They were quickly bagged up & we were on our way. The garlic is very strong (their description says pungent, & they're not wrong) on the garlic bagels & it will linger with you for hours. If you love garlic, these are for you. Personally, next time I would go with the onion bagels instead. I love sesame, my family does not like the overwhelming amount of sesame seeds on the sesame bagels. Onion would be my compromise as there's a mixture of onion & sesame. The all-dressed bagels are well balanced, having a mix of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, caraway seeds, onion, garlic & a bit of salt. The best of, ahem, everything.... These were a home run in my house. The bagels have a dense texture & a satisfying chew to them, they're unique to the area & definitely worth a try, especially if you've only ever experienced more'bready', bun-like bagels available across the country.Voir plus
My favourite bagels, I try to pass by every time I come to MontrealVoir plus
2nd experience: got the sesame & all dressed, they were definitely better that store bought but could be chewier. The 40g smoked salmon wasn't great, didn't have much flavour aside from salt, it's not their house product so I don't blame them but do not waste on your money on it, the bigger packs are probably better since they're different brands. 1st experience: ordered 6 different bagels for the week, made the mistake of putting them in the fridge where the got tough as nails. The bagels that survived were good.Voir plus
Ny bagels can go to sleep. They don't have anything on Fairmount's. Bagels here are always freshVoir plus
Quick & easy! The garlic bagel had a nice crunch, it was flavourful & very tasty. But it's a bagel, what more can i say? Unfortunately it did not make me cream. The only thing creaming here was the cream cheese they provided :) I would definitely go again & try the other bagels!Voir plus
Aucun bagel n'approche la perfection des Fairmount Bagels. Je ne peux même plus regarder les bagels achetés en magasin. Remarquable.Voir plus
As delicious as advertised & fun to order, in the tiny room full of stacked bagels & clear cabinets & square ordering counter. Busy & efficient operation. Kind staff. Jams & cream cheeses for sale too. Onion good but "Bozo" was awesome. Cash only.Voir plus
