My wife had the Octopus, best she ever had.
I had the lamb chops, fantastic. They forgot to bring our rice and the vegetables were a bit too hard but overall the food was very good. I would recommend starting with the Pikilia plate and finishing with the baklava cheesecake which was amazing.
A bit noisy but overall very good ambiance, makes you feel at home. Service is very attentive and efficient.
We will definitely go back.
Amazing restaurant, the fish and seafood is the freshest I've ever tasted and the service is excellent. We'll definitely be returning again.
We were a group of 4.
Ordered several dishes to share.
The octopus was very good, the lamb chops were just okay , but not great, the Elounda Special was too oily, the shrimps were very large but way over cooked, calamari was good.
We had to order 4 dishes and share amount us , there was no "Family style" portions. disappointed.
Over all, this Resto is okay, but not worth the price.
Approx. $400 for 4 people tax/tip included, only one bottle wine @$40.
Strong men make wise decisions.

Classic Greek cuisine in a terrific atmosphere. Nice service too. The lentil soup is delicious. The lamb, chicken, and calamari are delicious. Opà!!!!
My lunch meetings were always at Elounda. I dined there at least 3x a week. Food is good and service was exceptional. I would walk in and the waitress knew as soon as she saw me what I would drink and would bring it to my table. She always took great care of us and most of the time she was extremely busy but always managed to be very attentive. This past month I went 2x in the beginning and was extremely disappointed. She was no longer there but I figured the service would be the same. The first time the waiter forgot our salads and brought it with our main course and didn't even apologize and the 2nd visit it really looked like we were bothering him. No smile, no acknowledgment whatsoever.
Mediocre food at best, with the multiple variants of other establishments in the city that offer much better Mediterranean food this was not worth the trip.
La nourriture est excellente, le service impecable, toutefois, je n'y retournerais pas. Les prix sont, à mon avis, trop élevés.
I'm a big fan of greek food, especially these seafood places.
The seafood is definitely something to try.. the octopus & calamari are really good. The problem @ Elounda is that you couldn't order mixed platters (seafood or meat.)
We also ordered the fried zuchinis/eggplant (elounda special) which is a classic @ any good greek place i go to. I found it was more oily/greasy than it should have been... but it came with a bit of saganaki cheese & tzatziki.. which is different than other places.
In the end, the place is 'ok', not worth the coin.
Tried it for the second time after being disappointed the first time we went there and again were disappointed. The food is just bland. No taste whatsoever. I think they put the same dressing on the fish, lamb chops and also the vegetables. We tasted the same lemon taste on all these foods. Portions are very small for the price. I think they literally count the pieces of cauliflower and broccoli on each plate. The most disappointing factor was that there's no table d'hote and no children's menu. The only good thing was the service.
Having heard great things about this restaurant my wife and I took her parents there for their anniversary. From the moment we walked in the greeting from the hostess was very warning. She gave us a great table and was so nice to us. To make things even better we were served by a super friendly waitress who happened to be her sister. She recommended the Elounda Special (which is fried eggplant and zuccini chips and tzatziki sauce). It was excellent. Her recommendations were all superb including the Black Sea Bass that we had and then to top it all off the dessert she had us try was baklava cheesecake (superb). It was an amazing experience and my in-laws were thrilled. It was a very memorable evening and we will be going back.
I dont know what people are talking about when they talk about negative service at elounda's.. I was there last week on a busy saturday night and i have gone time and time again and the service and food is always impecable!
This restaurant is really a hidden gem. I will be returning again and again!
ps: try the steak!

I've been going to elounda for years now and it never dissapoints. Everything is great from octopus to the delicious lamb chops. The elounda plate is addictive! Fried zucchini and eggplant dipped in the fresh tzatziki. Highly recommend this place
Went there on a very busy Saturday night and I kinda loved the ambiance; really buzzling. The food was good: Greeks are kings of fresh seafood so both my wife and I indulged in grilled fish platters -> evenly cooked, subtly well seasoned, delish. Our plates were proof that food well done in it's utter simplicity (our platters were not the more complex ones, but definitely succulent) worth even more than complex eye candy food. Nice!
My parents are good friends with the owner (my dad is greek) and we always get the 5 star treatment , Food is great , service well we never missed it and i love the ppl there. its really great
Was very disappointed, service was slow, we were a party of 30 people arrived at 6:00 PM on a Wednesday. Had to ask the waiters if they could come to take drink orders and there was no one else in the restaurant yet. Part of our party had recieived their entrees before others had even given their orders. Disappointed with portion size, I had the Chillean Bass at $39.00. Fish was well cooked and tasty however the meal consisted of a small piece of fish, two small pieces of cauliflower and one small piece of brocolli. That was it! The plate was half empty. I left the restaurant hungry which is rare for any greek restaurant. With a Ceasar before dinner, coffee, Baklava and tip ( in spite of service) spent $63.00 and I could have stopped for a burger on the way home. I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone. It was an unfortunate dining experience
The best greek/seafood restaurant in Montreal in relation to the prices. Food is excellent all around, not quite as good as Milos, but at a 1/3 of the price, it is well worth it!
Go, you will have a great evening!
What a fabulous restaurant!! Absolutely delicious! The food portions were very generous, the waiters were so helpful and courteous, ambiance was superb. A beautiful experience from start to finish! I will definitely be a regular customer!!

We went there for my granma birthday. We didn't know what to expect, we only read about the place on the web. We were very pleasantly surprised. From the grapefruit martini, through the entrees, main course and the honey balls with fruit at the end the food was fabulous. Try their elounda special entree, fried cheese with fried zuchini and tzatziki. We then ordered at the suggestion of our waiter a table d'hote which wasn't even on the menu. For 46 per person you get salad, grilled mushrooms, grilled bellpepper, fried calamari, fried octopus, fish, chichken, lamb, potatoes, rice, steamed vegetables, and desert. They are all delicious, especially the octopus, even better than the one at Sirene de la Mer. The fish was very good, and I don't even like fish. The lamb was also very good. Our server, Boby, was very atentive, he explained everything very well to us, he suggested the house specialties. When he saw that we were a bit full he waited till we were ready for the next course. It is a bit pricey, can't yet afford to go there every weekend, but for special occasions, it is a very nice place to go. We'll definitely go back! Very, very good!!!
