Visited in august 2023. Bagels were fresh, alot of different options, good cream cheese, vegan option as well. my kids loved the rainbow bagels! However, customer service was a bit rude at the counter, no hi or bonjour. I Asked about the menu, was simply pointed not answered, the employee was avoiding looking & speaking to me, but I was the only client in the store & I was very polite. It felt like the cashier wanted me to leave asap instead of ordering. The man who prepared our bagels was friendly. I will probably try again.. we will see next time, maybe the cashier was having a bad day.
My husband & I absolutely love Dizz bagel. We look forward to our Sunday mornings on their back patio by the fire. Finally a place we can bring our entire family - including our dog! Such a treat! The owners are kind, thoughtful & creative - & it's represented throughout the design of Dizz bagel right through to their menu. They have created a warm & inviting bagel shop for the neighbourhood where families & patrons alike can feel a sense of community. The best part of course is the food - the spicy tuna is my absolute favourite! I don't think I could ever get sick of the food! We'll done Dizz bagel can't wait to see what's next on the menu :)
I had heard about Dizz's & was really looking forward to trying out the bagels, but I ordered a few different things as well- everything was absolutely delicious, but totally ruined by the bad customer service I experienced. I went in today for the very first time & there was maybe one other person waiting for an order. If it had been super busy I would have understood the dismissive behaviour that the lady at the cash gave me, but my goodness I never thought I would be made to feel dumb just for making an order. It was like she just couldn't be bothered. It's such a shame because the shop is actually quite cute & the food is good!
