About

Dizz's Bagel specializes in the preparation of traditional hand-rolled bagels boiled in honey-infused water and baked in a wood-fired oven for a distinctive chewy texture. The menu features an extensive selection of artisanal cream cheeses alongside various house-cured salmon preparations. Guests find an array of cold-cut sandwich options crafted on fresh-baked rolls paired with crisp vegetable salads using locally sourced ingredients. The kitchen maintains high standards for dough fermentation to ensure the signature crust remains perfectly golden. Each sandwich emphasizes fresh textures and balanced seasoning profiles suited for quick service or grab-and-go options. The minimalist interior focuses on efficient movement and transparent preparation techniques. Patrons encounter a direct focus on product quality and consistency across every batch of bagels produced daily within this specialized culinary establishment.

Review Summary

Dizz's Bagel is widely recognized as a charming destination in the Pointe Claire village, frequently praised for its fresh, high quality bagels and exceptional homemade cream cheese spreads. Many patrons appreciate the diverse menu, particularly the hearty breakfast sandwiches and the inviting atmosphere of the outdoor seating areas. While the majority of guests highlight the friendly, professional staff and the overall delicious food, some visitors feel that the price point is quite high compared to traditional bagel shops. Although most experiences are positive, a small number of reviews mention inconsistencies with food preparation, occasional service lapses regarding special dietary needs or delivery orders, and a preference for more traditional bagel styles.

The everything spicy bagel is outstanding, as are the cream cheeses, my favourite being echalotte bacon with solid chunks of both.

Dizz's is a great spot for bagel breakfast sandwiches, pastries, & obviously, their bagel selection. As an ex-Montreal's familiar with true Montreal style bagels, these are excellent. A must visit in the area

I ordered an OG bagel through Uber Eats, & it arrived with visible MOLD!!!! The mold was all over the cheese. This order was placed at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, which makes it very hard to believe that the person preparing the bagel didn't notice it.

When I opened the sandwich, I immediately saw green spots on the cheese. This is extremely concerning. I strongly urge the owners to speak with their staff, as this should never have been served to a customer.

I've been 3-4 times, & the bagel sandwiches I've had have never disappointed. The staff & location are lovely, no complaints.

That said, I don't think I'll be returning. On Sunday I got their crispy chicken sandwich on challah (it was very decent) with a can of flirt lemonade. Over $27 after tax+tip (15%)??? I live in Plateau & work in Griffintown. I'm no stranger to paying a premium to eat out.

$27 for a sandwich & canned drink is nutty, really.
