beer(33) bière(33) selection(6) micro(6) pint(6) brasserie(5) brew(5) bar(5) variete(4)The fried calamari was tender & light & the house fresh cut _frites_ so freshly hot were a tremendous treat for the palate. I was told I would find cask-conditioned here. While quaffing the British bitter on cask'pain ouotidien' I kept getting honey in the nose. My server let me sample the co2 tap version & no smell of honey. Cask version was at maybe 43-48⁰F, so I conclude it did not age well.View more
First time back since they renovated & it is so much more spacious than before. Same excellent beer, great atmosphere & service, but just much more room to sit. Huge improvement imo, easily top 3 micros in MTL.View more

Je connaissais déjà ces bières avant de venir au Québec, c'est encore mieux quand c'est directement à la source !View more
Great beers. Amazing nachos, & vegitarian charcuterie board. Going to be a must stop anytime we return to Montreal. We came last year when it was closed so glad to see them open again. As good as ever if not better. Place is very nice. Looks great. clean. updated. Food is excellent. Beer is amazing. Odd note. But they really hit the mark with a simple gender neutral washroom.View more
+++ Vast & varied selection of beers, most/all brewed directly in-house. +++ Good layout & seating ever since the 2023 renovation. +++ Passionate & knowledgeable staff. --- Pricey food offerings for the quantity. This place is a reference in the local microbrew industry, & with reason. There is every sort of beer for everyone, & all of utmost quality. When success is that disconcertingly easy, all one can say is: "S-Tier, rien à redire."View more
Bière excellente, bouffe (surtout la poutine) délicieuse, ambiance relaxe (on s'entend parler) tout en étant chaleureuse & animée! C'est parfait pour un moment entre amis!View more
Ah finalement Dieu du ciel avec plus de place. Je n'y étais pas retourné depuis des années mais quelle belle surprise.View more
Good beer but the young barman (dark hair, glasses) working the bar on the pub side of the place had no clue how to pour a stout, which was surprising for a brewpub. After pouring me this monstrosity / joke (see photo!), I said nothing at the time not wanting to be annoying, but for the second one I asked him nicely if he could pour it so the head was around finger width, explaining that this was standard where I was from (Dublin - & this was listed as a "stout Irlandaise" so I figured I was not taking nonsense here). He did so & he said I should have told him the last one was badly poured. I said no problem not a big deal. (There were 8 people he was serving sat at the bar so I did wonder why he couldn't maybe look at the pint before he gave it to someone!) After 4 pints I had to leave & got the check. I tipped $4 thinking that was standard (as it is in NYC - a dollar a pint) & he told me passive-aggressively that "15% is normal, but ok". I would have preferred he just said thank you or nothing. Left a bad impression. I won't rush back. I do think the tipping culture is getting crazy. Getting a hard time for tipping $1 a pint across 4 pints sat at a bar, when the barman doesn't even know how to pour them!View more
