The coffee shop is located inside an old bank building. Very nice location, the contrast between the modern contemporary look of the coffee shop design & the building make it special. The taste of the coffee is so so. But they do make a different, highly recommendedVoir plus

J'ai enlevé une étoile en raison des prix un peu exorbitants.. Je conçois que c'est un endroit très occupé & primé des locaux comme des touristes mais c'est un peu élevé. A staple of Montreal. Coffee is just ok & the line up usually long but the vibe is great (if you can get a spot). Always a tourist pleaser. Special interest for any military history buffs: 2 impressive plaques to honour Great War heroes who worked at the bank back then but went to fight for our freedom. We will remember them.Voir plus

This is a beautiful space to come & drink coffee or to work. & the coffee is good. Unfortunately, the place is let down by its apathetic staff. Even with six people behind the desk, I still had to wait to give my order (one girl watched me wait in line while twiddling her thumbs). The men behind the counter stare & ogle the pretty girls, & aren't remotely subtle about it. & I've not once seen any of the staff crack a smile. When I am in town, I enjoy visiting this place. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, & reasonably priced. The cafe staff is efficient & thoughtful, & of course, the location of this establishment is monumentally beautiful. Today I had a Montreal bagel with cream cheese & a latte. If you've never had a Montreal bagel, you must try one. They are easily the best bagels in the world. Treat yourself to a good cup of coffee, a bite to eat, & soak up the unique & truly unforgettable location & atmosphere.Voir plus
