Crème & Café feels like a casual, family-run spot with a warm terrace view of the river and surrounding greenery, where generous portions and a mix of cafe fare, ice cream and comforting bites meet a friendly welcome. Dishes like chicken souvlaki with fries and an accompanying salad that briefly went missing but was later brought as a proper side, alongside a shrimp wonton soup and two egg rolls described as absolutely fabulous with a crisp crust and just the right spice, stand out in reviews. The place is noted as a good stop before or after a visit to Parc LaSalle, with ample street parking nearby and a relaxed atmosphere. While drinks are well liked and the overall vibe is family friendly, some comments mention the ice cream is only okay and the owner can feel rude, and a few dishes such as nachos are seen as merely tortilla chips and not worth the price. Overall, Crème & Café seems to offer dependable comfort food and dessert in a budget-friendly setting near the river, valued by many for its view and convivial spirit.

We had a nice family pit stop here on our last night visiting Montreal. It is a very nice family-run place, just steps from the St. Lawrence River rapids. We spent a beautiful few hours with some food & drinks on a rainy evening under a covered terrace. It is one of these unassuming local gems that you got to just take it easy & have a relaxing time without breaking your wallet.
Brought the family for ice cream, They open early this year, the person who served us was super helpful & friendly! The ice cream & sherburt is amazing & alot of amazingly tasty flavors! Family owned & operated, always a pleasure to go by either for supper or just a snake / ice cream, treats..
