Como Pizzeria: Where Pizza Meets NASA-Level Coordination
Walked into Como Pizzeria expecting to order takeout... walked straight into what looked like a pizza-powered call centre command hub. Three people on phones taking orders like it was stock trading day on Wall Street, & one focused like a Jedi just to handle payments. I half expected someone to offer me a headset.
Ordered two small pizzas & some onion rings. Simple. Told it would be 15 minutes. So we waited in the car like regular civilians.
Then it happened.
Over the outside speaker, like we were at an airport or maybe a very organized pizza cult:
'Mike, your order is ready!'
I felt summoned. Honored. Like I had been chosen.
We weren't even waiting inside! How did they know? Did they scan our license plate? Facial recognition? Pizza sixth sense? I don't know-but these guys have customer service down to a science. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a control room with a live countdown for every slice.
Food? Great. Hot. Delicious. Onion rings crispy.
Service? Efficient with a side of sorcery.
Vibes? Call centre meets Michelin-star hustle.
Would definitely come back. Might even wear a name tag just to make their job easier.
This was the first & last time we go at this restaurant. Caesar salad was disgusting. Pizza was ok mainly because of the dough. The lights were so dimmed that you could barely see the food that you were eating much less the bill (don't know if this is intentional).
Growing up in Candiac, there was always a debate over who had the best pizza around, Como or Miss Candiac. Now that Miss Candiac has closed down, the choice is clear. If I'm ordering pizza, its from Como, I don't even consider any other restaurants. This has been the pizza spot for as long as I can remember!
Tout le monde sur la rive sud de Montréal connais Como Pizzeria, ils ont une réputation & croyez moi elle n'est pas sur faite. On y mange très bien, à un prix abordable. Le personnel est chaleureux, acceuillant & efficace. Il y a 2 restaurants, un à Brossard & celui où je vais à Delson. La pizza & les pâtes sont excellents, je vous les recommandes.

I was going to order a sub but was told the pizza here was amazing so I ordered a medium pizza with bacon so I could bring the rest home to share. It was delicious & even the leftovers were amazing!
J'habite entre les 2 restaurants : celui de Delson & celui de Laprairie mais quand je'take-out' je vais a Delson. Pour la livraison Delson refuse de livrer a notre address & devons appeler celui de Laprairie. Malgré 2 restaurants du même nom nous trouvons la pizza de Delson meilleur... Suffisament que ma conjointe ne veux plus qu'on place de commande téléphonique à la succursale de Laprairie. Pour de la bonne pizz traditionnelle nous allons a Delson.

I am glad to report that the restaurant is still doing extremely well, we dined here on Saturday March 26, 2025 & the place was absolutely booming - full house, line out of the door. We last ate here in 2019 & have ordered take out over the years, but it was wonderful to see such a packed restaurant in this economy.
The pizza & pastas were exactly like how I remembered them over the last few years. Same delicious taste, same portion - but perhaps a bit more expensive. Service was speedy & friendly.
Note this restaurant does not take reservations for dine in, but the interior is so spacious there are tons of tables & the line moves fast to get a seat.
Highly recommend the all dressed, or Como pizza, & the alfredo raviolis, such a decadent & rich sauce.
La pizza'spéciale Como' est la meilleure au monde accompagné d'une sangria rouge maison, c'est la totale... malheureusement les frites ne sont plus maison depuis quelques années.
