Service is frequently highlighted as a key component of the experience, with staff members consistently described as attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, which significantly enhances the overall meal.
Yikes. Really hit or miss. Had breakfast first day. It was great with great service.
Second day, ordered BLT to go. $25. BLT on a tiny croissant with an entire raw red onion & about 1/4 cup of mayo. Couldn't eat it - was disgusting. Came with potatoes, they were good but there were 14... So for $25 I ate 14 potatoes. I paid when I ordered & was asked a second time to pay/charge to my room when I picked up.
Had breakfast here during my stay & was very disappointed.
1. It took about 40 min from when we got to the restaurant to when food was served. It was not very busy either.
2. The potato side I got was so hot than it burned a layer of skin off the inside of my mouth right away. I thought a warning would have been nice.
I was initially ready to leave a one-star review based on my past experience here. The food is ok, but nothing exceptional-so it's important to set expectations accordingly.
That said, my previous visit was significantly impacted by poor service. This time, however, the experience was completely different thanks to Victoria. She greeted us with a genuine smile, was attentive, & took the time to guide us through the menu in a very helpful & friendly manner. Her attitude & professionalism truly stood out & elevated the entire visit.
In my view, the management should give her a hug & a bonus recognizing her efforts.
Because of her, I'm adjusting my rating to 4 stars. Thanks Victoria for that great service!
Worked up an appetite in the pool (excellent pool by the way). The popcorn shrimp? To die for. Big portion as well. If you want to hunker down & get cozy in the hotel this restaurant is for you.
Severely understaffed. Had 11 people at our table with a reservation. Only 1 waiter & 1 cook. Food came cold & waiting an insane amount of time for food (one waited 2 hours).
But I'll give them bonus points because the cheese on my nachos was delicious.
We just finished our second dinner at Circos. All of the food we had was tasty & well presented. A special mention goes to our server Yongchackry who was just starting his job at Circos & who was knowledgeable, attentive & fun to chat with. Check out this modest restaurant, especially if you are staying in the hotel.
Saturday morning breakfast wasn't as bad. Sunday breakfast was quite disappointing.
Ordered the omelette & eggs benny the first day. Asked for no meat on the benny, it ended up coming with ham. The omelette was average. Asked for white toast, they brought whole wheat & it was such dry dollar store type toast I ended up only taking a bite. I normally hate wasting food.
Sunday was avocado toast for both of us. One had an over easy egg added. It came out as poached instead. The avocado on both weren't ripe. One was completely unripe to the point where there was no way to insert the fork or knife we had, only an actual kitchen knife would have been able to cut through.
Manager was lovely about the mix ups but in general if you don't get breakfast complimentary with Hilton, don't spend your money on this breakfast.
Only if your staying in Hilton Garden inn:
PRO
- Quality of food is good.
- the staff are profession, but can use a bit more polishing & etiquette
- price is similar to surrounding restaurants with similar good quality
CON:
- Always appear to be understaffed; especially during breakfast - so come early
- If you stay in the hotel, you cannot charge to your room, unless you are gold or diamond member - this stinks!
- no room delivery unless you are gold or diamond member.
If you are in the mood to go out & grab a bite to eat, go! If you you want to stay in, then yes... I recommend the food.
