Everything about this place screams'I want to drop kick anyone who's in a rush but also im a control freak'. The food was mediocre. The service was horrible. The rest was fine. It was quite expensive for two appetizers. Wouldn't recommend.
We had an excellent experience here this week. The host (owner?) Mario was very welcoming & made sure we were well taken care of. We had poutine & pizza, both of which were great.
Food was good, could offer a little bigger portion in my opinion, service was so so, never was asked if we wanted another bottle of water, as we had finished ours before the mains came out, bruschetta was only 4 small pieces & when it came time to paying, I didn't leave a tip then was asked how the service was & why I didn't tip... felt very uncomfortable & was not happy with the fact he questioned that when its an OPTION to but also the fact he expected it.

I admittedly have never eaten here & now likely never will. My 4 year old daughter needed to urgently go to the washroom as we were walking near the Science Center of the old port during the evening. I ran across the street to find most restaurants were closing or already closed. This restaurant had their door wide open, so we walked in. No one seemed to take notice of us, but as I was in a rush we immediately went to the washroom which I helped my daughter to use. What could have been a pleasant experience quickly turned negative, as we left the washroom & we were berated by an older gentleman who worked there, asking "How did you get in?!" & "What, you ignore all the signs?!" I explained that I didn't see any signs, as any parent would know that when your small child is "holding it in" you could be on a short timer. We also took all of 5 minutes in a completely empty restaurant. He continued accosting us as we were walking out, asking, "Do I go walk into your house?!" This pointless argument was hardly worth my time, especially in front of my young daughter, so I apologized for whatever mild inconvenience my daughter using the washroom had caused & left before the argument escalated. He never explained what signs he was talking about, but on the way out I caught a glimpse of one -by the floor- about washrooms only for customers. Had he asked nicely I honestly would've paid for whatever small item I could, but definitely not with how we were treated & definitely a place I will avoid in future. The staff, at least this gentleman, could use some serious lessons in customer service. I would highly recommend a "not kid-friendly" tag for this place.
I came here for a quick meal, I got an aperol spritz & the rose pasta & they were both delicious. The older man (looked like the owner) was so lovely & very helpful! He gave me one of their super cool looking water glasses! I will definitely be returning here!
Trop cher pour ce que c'est. L'assiette de pâte est minuscule & la pizza est de très mauvaise qualité.
Stopped to get a quick lunch & the pizza was lovely & their water is very refreshing. Overall lovely experience.
Totally nailed the Italian cuisine vibe here, from the flavorful pasta to the ambiance that just makes you feel welcome. The crew's always up for a chat, making you feel right at home. Easily one of the top spots in Kanata for a tasty meal & a good time.
The pizza here is average at best. The Margherita pizza was missing basil. The chicken & olive pizza was also adequate. Service was fine but nothing special. Sitting on the patio was enjoyable.
