Chillax is a great addition to the student ghetto. Located on Park just below Milton, this restaurant has everything. Really fine Japanese food, friendly personal service & a great atmosphere. You don't notice this the place so much from the street but that contributes to its hidden charms. I've lived in the area for 43 years & I'm very happy to have such good cuisine in the area that isn't hard on my wallet. Highly recommend checking it out.View more
J'ai visité ce restaurant sans aucune attente pour un diner alors que j'étais dans le coin. Quelle découverte! J'ai pris une soupe avec du porc, suggérée par la serveuse (qui était super gentille & nous conseillait vraiment bien). Le porc était si tendre que je le coupais avec mes baguettes. La souper était tellement gouteuse. Des saveurs que je n'avais jamais expérimentées & tout cela dans un petit resto super sympathique. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables. Honnêtement, j'ai juste hâte de retourner dans le coin pour y manger à nouveau & essayer d'autres plats sur leur menu. Une superbe découverte. Dommage que j'habite aussi loin! ;)View more

Had an amazing experience for my mother's birthday at Restaurant Chillax! We found this lovely little place close to our hotel & it certainly did not disappoint. The portion sizes were perfect & it was some of the best Japanese food we've ever had. The service was also very friendly & efficient. Looking forward to coming back when we're back in town!View more

Great place to visit for a small taste of Japan. If you want to experience something other than sushi, Chillax has a great menu of different dishes to try. Service is friendly & quick. The atmosphere is great, I recommend getting some stickers with your order.View more
This is my favourite restaurant in my neighbourhood. Consistency! It's always on point! Everytime I go there! Ok I was in Japan ONCE so I am not a Japanese food connoisseur BUT the Okonomiyaki & the Tokoyaki... Delicious, also the Karaage chicken & poke bowls (not in picture) & the cheese fried rice & Shrimp tempura Udon soup (In picture) Freshness & finest! Stumbled upon this special place & it didn’t disappoint. Cozy & clean little restaurant with character. Authentic Japanese cuisine, all three of us thought it was yummy! Staff were friendly & the chef peeked out a few times to say hello. Had to come back the next day for green tea & dessert.
