Very nice experience! Cocktails are so original & delicious, the food is to die for & we tried almost everything on the menu, the ambiance is fantastic (the music playlist is so good) & the price is very reasonable! The sauces in each meal where so delicious & we would have licked the plate. Honnestly it was overall delicious & a fun night! Will come back.View more

Chifa is a mandatory Montreal pit stop. Nothing like it in town. Been there many times. The food is original & delicious. The chefs are always looking to invent & improve. The charming front-of-the-house team knows how to turn visitors into friends. & the ambience provides escapism. Miraculously, it works for intimate dinners & for having fun with small groups. Bar Pelicano is next door downstairs to keep the night going.View more
I am in a restaurant business went in a date to Chifa, the food ( the main dish & dessert)were very good but the portions were small compared to the price , the gin ginger was perfect , the white rice was a bit under cooked , the service both the serveuse were very nice & welcoming over all the experience was amazing will come back for sureView more

It's ok.. I don't know why the food is spicy. They use way too many sauces on their plates. Not the best food... there are way better places you can go to. Save yourselves 145$ for 2 drinks & 3 appetizers. Also service needs major improvement. Our expectations were much higher, we left disappointed.View more
If you are looking for great food & ambiance. Chifa is exactly the placee you are looking for. The food is delicious with a unique combination of flavors. The ambiance is a mix of relax & hip also comfortable, not at all touristy. The location is on a quieter, more residential street near Old Montreal. The staff are always very friendly, giving terrific plate suggestions & the cocktails are awesome! Definitely try it!View more

Interesting mix of Peruvian/Chinese food. The food was fine, but if you compare it to Chinese food that some of the dishes are trying to emulate, it falls flat. The flavours felt unbalanced & some meat dishes were on the dryer side. Otherwise, as fun hybrid dishes that are experimenting, the food is just okay. La nourriture est totalement délicieuse, mais c'est dommage car le service laisse à désirer. C'est la troisième fois que nous venons & les trois fois le service était très inégal (voir inexistant). On commande des cocktails à notre arrivé, on ne les reçoit jamais (ou après la nourriture, quand on les redemande... alors qu'on voit la serveuse jaser avec des amis au bar), on oublie des items de la commande, on ne revient pas nous voir lorsque les verres sont vides (autant boisson de eau). On finit par nous demander si on veut autre chose quand on a le manteau sur le dos, sur notre départ. Malheureusement ça aura probablement été notre dernière fois.
