Reviews describe Chez Rémi as a friendly, simple family style spot with generous portions, dependable service and good value, where the countryside bistro vibe and straightforward lunch menu feel welcoming. The food is often praised for solid flavor and crepes are highlighted as a standout, with meals reflecting decades of kitchen experience and service that is quick and courteous. Some reviewers note a recent change of ownership and a name change, saying the decor, menus and vibe are very different and that it feels less charming than before, with a few saying they will not return, while others still appreciate the quality and the friendly staff. Taken together, the place is seen as familiar and unpretentious, with hearty plates and reasonable prices, though opinions about the changes remain mixed.
Most excellent food, prepared by decades-worth of experience. Our waitress was joyful, kind & especially competent. Well worth the visit,...& don't be deceived by the look of the place from the outside.
