Review Summary

Reviews for Chez Lien reflect a polarized dining experience, as many patrons praise the flavorful chicken, fresh vegetables, and delicious fried banana, while others express significant disappointment regarding food quality and inconsistent preparation. While some appreciate the reasonable pricing and generous portion sizes, concerns have been raised about stale ingredients and poor service responses when complaints are made. Overall, the establishment remains a long-time favorite for some, though experiences clearly vary between successful meals and highly unsatisfying visits.

Whenever I go to a Vietnamese restaurant I take the tonkinese soup. However I decided to go for one of their noodle dishes. It was delicios, especially the vegetables that were cooked perfectly, & kept their crunchiness. The chicken was also delicious. Maybe a bit too much sauce that made the crunchy noodles get soggy a bit too fast. Still delicious. My wife had the spicy soup. I'd go back just for that. The best Vietnamese food in Montreal in my opinion.
