This establishment highlights regional staples like jerk-spiced meats and plantain sides prepared to maintain the integrity of Caribbean traditions. Very authentic Caribbean food. I usually get the goat roti & the oxtail portion. It's really out of this world. There were times when they ran out of oxtail & for good reason. It's THE best in Montreal. Be careful with their home made hot sauce, it's really spicy.

I've been coming here for yyyears & the roti is not the same. I can't speak for the other meals. But the roti was the high light back in the days.

Someone needs to go to jail for these pathetically dry patties. I honestly don't know how they made it out of the kitchen. They were so dry they practically turned to dust the moment we bit into them. There was barely any filling, & what was there was dry too. At $4 each, I expected a fresh, flaky patty, not something that tasted like it had been sitting out for days. Even my dog would probably walk away from these. Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of money, & I won't be back.

Honestly, for 18$, i thought i was getting a lamb curry roti. I got a potato roti with little bits of lamb.. the picture i took of the potatoes picked out was from only 1/4 of the whole roti. I threw out the rest. The curry was good, but it would be better if i ACTUALLY had lamb inside. The beef patty as well. It could have been better if it has more than half of the filling...

I love this place!

Food. Fresh, tasty, authentic, great portions.
Service. Friendly & sincere.
Atmosphere. Fun & unpretentious.

Bottom line this is an authentic place to eat Caribbean food. It's like eating at a friends or family member's home.

Pricing is reasonable & their beverages are also great.

Definitely changed & not for the better. I used to go there when I was younger & the food was always on point. It's been a few years since I've been there & decided to take my kids, I got the oxtail stew chicken & curry chicken plates..the only decent thing was the oxtail. Nausea hit hard after we ate. My kids didn't enjoy the food at all. Will never go back.

From the Caribbean, the curry goat roti was & the pepper sauce! The doubles were good as well!

I am always vex with myself when I buy curry here. Doubles tasted yuck. Bara was tough, channa hard, seasoning not good. Chicken roti was a waste of money, since my child, (who loves a good roti) refused to eat it.
Sorry, but this time I had to leave a review.
