The chicken dishes are far from the Portuguese piri piri grilled chicken I've got to know! Chicken portions were not generous & lacked effort, the spicy portuguese signature taste was missing & chicken was dry. The waiter gave his best service he could, why I give 4/5 stars. He did check on us & later when we went to pay, we discovered they keep piri sauce on the side - was not offered. Our dinner sitting at Campo was Saturday around 7- 8.30pmView more
Very tasty, a touch of spiciness, very savory & a hint of acidity. Great spot!View more
J'adore ce resto... La poutine c'est la meilleure!View more

Great place! the food was delicious (I took a verde bowl) & the service was really friendly. The vibe was really nice, with candles on the tables & a great playlist in the background. Would definitely recommend it!View more
Overall quality of the place has been seriously on the decline. They can't even bother having every item on their menu available.View more
Ce fut une très belle découverte, j'aime bien le look intérieur du restaurant. Que dire du poulet à part qu'il était divin ! Il était goûteux & juteux. La présentation des plats était jolie & les portions étaient généreuses.View more
So I heard about this place called Time Out where it's the third place in the world where you have essentially upscale food court in a mall. This is the essentially what Time Out is, mixed with numerous other sorts of food offerings but designed & owned by top restaurateurs &/or chefs. We went to CAMPO which was been said to be one the better places to eat Portuguese rotisserie chicken. We figured that since this is the brainchild of the famous Ferreira Restaurant it must be good. The outcome. Yes it was good, not great, not amazing but good. I think Toronto has much but restaurants like this than Montreal but such is life. The food was prepared quickly in the amount of time it took to find a table to be exact. How could this be so fast? They continuously cook chickens to an almost fully cooked state, then briefly place it back on the spit to refresh it - I think, or maybe not & it sits in a warmer. I say the second because our food came more warm than hot & fresh with a crispy skin texture. Which is one main reason why it's not 5 stars. Moreover, the chicken had very minimal marinade (I imagine it's Piri Piri) & there was no offer to provide a small container of sauce for dipping which it really needed for the white meat especially since it was quite dry. I also do not like when (typically inexperienced cooks) slice into my meals protein to check for done-ness. Likely another attribute to dry chicken. Ironically the dark meat thigh was done fine but the drumstick was hard & overdone. Aside from this the size of the chicken seems much smaller than most other rotisserie in Montreal or even Toronto for that matter Fries are reasonably good considering they said they are not home made, just the portion was quite small as was the delicious salad & its dressing but so small it was almost like a second thought. The other thing is product knowledge. The whole time out is mostly filled with very young & inexperienced staff & it makes you wonder people what the quality will be. In our case the server self admittedly no idea of what the food is, how it's made, & had no sense of the product or pride in it for that matter. Somewhat of a turn off from a foodie perspective. We heard from many people that the chicken sandwich was amazing but we wanted to evaluate the chicken on its own, & perhaps smothered with other items & the sandwich roll its better I don't know. All in all reasonably good food but for the price I would not go out of my way again to eat there as they are other better places to eat. But if I were there in the building let's say, & didn't want to try all the other great food options, I may try their sandwich as a last ditch to get a hot properly cooked chicken product. All in all I expected much much more from the owners at Ferreira - it's not up to their standard at all from my experience.View more
Good service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, & most importantly the food is delicious!View more
Dans l'ensemble le repas était délicieux, bon service, le lieux était propre & bien décoré. Le seul bémol pour moi c'était le poulet sec mais ça a été largement compenser par les tartelettes & la pieuvre.View more
CAMPO FULLY LOADED BABY 🙏 . I had such an amazing experience at @campomtl the last time I was there I felt it only right to talk about it again. Honestly their restaurant is even better then the location at @timeoutmarketmontreal if that was even possible! . I couldn't really make up my mind so I had to get a little of everything as you can see here. Starting of course with a traditional Portuguese Chicken Sando. What can I say besides delicious. Great seasoned & marinated chicken really juicy. Homemade fresh traditional bread, fries perfect & crispy 10/10. . Next we have the poutine, the second time I order it & probably not going to be the last! Comes with the chicken of course, Sao Jorge Cheese which was supper fresh & yummy & some chorizo chips for some extra little crunchy bites... Mmmmmmm 🤤 . Last but not least, probably my favorite to go item not only for health but also for flavour is provably the Taro Protein Bowl. Chicken again, of course, quinoa, cucumbers, black beans, taro chips etc.... Honestly amazing flavours, great dressing to tie it all together & really a must have if u try them out next time! . If your Dt Montreal & need a lunch spot between your work day, this is Ur spot, one of my fav Portuguese spots in the city!View more

A gem of a find! Half chicken was incredibly juicy with a delightful lime flavor. Piri piri sauce was fabulous especially with the chips. & everyone was so kind & friendly!View more
Très bon poulet portugais. Un peu cher à mon goût 25$ avec les extra & une liqueur pour un dîner. J'imagine que c'est le prix aujourd'hui mais j'ai fait le saut.View more
Exceeds my expectations frankly! I tried the chicken sandwich combo that comes with fries & a green salad. Absolutely delicious, quantity & price are right. May be a bit crowded during peak hours which is understandable. I do recommend. Good job Campo Team 👍View more
This is the most delicious chicken that I ever ate!View more
I walked in a few weeks ago when I got hungry in a traffic jam. Wow they have a good chicken sandwich, & the bread is just perfect! Special thanks to Raquel who was all smiles, efficient & knows what's good customer service. Also well priced. She suggested next time if I am running late on dinner, they have frozen prepared meals: *request the prepared meal selection menu, yes of course Ferreira Portuguese specialties... Apparently the Lagareiro Octopus is the best, for approx $40...& just 7 min to warm up. Easy, Fast.View more
Pire poutine au Time Out. La sauce goute rien.... Le poulet plein de tiraille... decevant.View more
