Reviewers describe Cactus as a warm, welcoming spot with cozy decor and a pleasant terrace that creates an upbeat atmosphere. The service is noted as attentive, fast, and flexible, with staff willing to customize dishes such as adding more salad instead of rice or fries. The kitchen earns praise for fresh, seemingly homemade dishes, with wings and the cactus sauce singled out as a standout and the thin crust pizza earning compliments, while the red wine sangria also gets praise. Walk ins around the dinner rush find ample seating and friendly service, though not overly attentive at times. Some comments mention hiccups like dishes arriving overcooked or a strong alcohol scent in the room, but these are outweighed by praise for value and quality in the region. Overall the place is seen as a solid, enjoyable local option that many would recommend and return to, especially for wings and quesadillas.
