Pendant que tout le monde va bruncher, on s'est dit'allons à la Brûlerie, ce sera plus calme'. Eh bien non : le torréfacteur est passé à l'action, tout le plancher en tremblait & une cliente s'est mise à parler très fort pour dominer ce boucan. Petit déjeuner assez ordinaire, sans finesse. Heureusement, le serveur faisait bien son boulot.

This used to be one of my favorite places because it was kid-friendly & the food is great (the smoked meat poutine is amazing). I often came with friends, alone, or with my kids because they even have a small play area.
Unfortunately, one employee completely ruined that experience.
I came with my two boys, who were quietly playing, & ordered a hot chocolate. A woman (not sure if she's the owner or staff) started giving me extremely rude looks simply because I only ordered that. She even made comments about it to the cashier - just loud enough for me to hear. (The persons taking your order are always nice & polite, this is not against them)
She then started'cleaning' already clean tables around me while staring at me in a very hostile way. It made me so uncomfortable that I didn't even finish my drink & left.
Very disappointing. It only takes one person to make a place feel completely unwelcome.
If customers with kids are expected to order more than just a drink to use the play area, that should be clearly stated.
So sad, because this used to be one of my favorite places.
La Brûlerie Urbaine est tout simplement un incontournable à Montréal. Dès qu'on entre, on ressent une ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale qui donne envie de rester longtemps. Le café est d'une qualité exceptionnelle : riche, parfaitement équilibré & préparé avec beaucoup de soin.
Le personnel est toujours accueillant, souriant & passionné par ce qu'il fait, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. On sent vraiment l'attention portée aux détails, que ce soit dans la préparation des boissons ou dans le service. 🥰🥰🥰
C'est l'endroit idéal pour prendre un excellent café, travailler tranquillement ou passer un bon moment entre amis. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation. Je reviendrai certainement !

J'ai eu la chance d'être servi par Ben, fin connaisseur de café, il a parfaitement su cerner la palette aromatique qui me correspondait. Je conseille fortement le matcha avec une touche de cannelle.
This was our second time for brunch, we came back because my sister likes their potatoes. The portions in the pictures arent their exactly usual plates, the one with the sandwich usually comes with one side, so my fries were 3.95$ extra, the plate on the side with bacon was 5.95. So, my order was the Cajun sandwich, its with grilled chicken & veggies & it tasted like a pizza, anyway really good. Then, as for my side i picked their home salad & its like the way i prepare it at home, i really liked the dressing that comes with it. Lastly, i also liked their home fries.
Very friendly service, great food, but more importantly, they had some lovely gluten-free lunch options after walking quite a time looking for something to eat.

J'ai acheté un café dans ce restaurant pour manger avec le lunch que j'avais apporté de chez moi, mais le serveur est venu me dire que je ne pouvais pas manger mon lunch là même si j'avais acheté un café. & le gars ne m'a même pas laissé finir mon lunch.
Superbe endroit avec beaucoup de cachet (& de places assises)! Les plats, les produits & le service sont impeccables. J'y suis allée 2 fois pour bruncher & j'y retournerai sans hésiter. Les oeufs bénédictines étaient divins, je recommande!

Chaï latte trop blanc clairement pas infusé,trop d'eau, le serveur a essayé de le rattraper mais c'était imbuvable, j'espère pas mais on aurait dit qu'il avait simplement rajouté du sirop goût chaï, il avait un goût chimique sucré, je n'ai pas pu le finir donc cher pour ce que c'était
Went on a Monday morning. Not busy. Served by a very nice lady. The food was good & affordable. I got the salmon eggs Benedict & my wife got the spinach omelette with cheese & we were not disappointed. Portions were good & very tasty. Would definitely go again.
Recomiendo a quienes visiten Montreal, a conocer esta Brulerie, se ubica a pocos metros de la estación Cote des Neiges del metro, un ambiente cálido, podes estar tanto en la terraza , como en el interior y la atención es cordial. Tiene una exquisita selección de granos de café de todo el mundo. Con respecto a la comida, es obligación degustar la Poutine y los Wraps vegetarianos que tienen una salsa suprema! Las porciones son abundantes y los precios razonables.
Très belle assiette, les pommes de terre grenailles sont très bien pensées.

Seulement triste que le serveur ne vienne pas vous voir pour savoir si tous va bien ou pour plus de café.
Cependant pour de la tranquillité vous l'avez !
