Brasserie des Rapides is a family-owned restaurant and bar located in LaSalle. Since 1990, BDR is known for it's friendly atmosphere and generous portions at reasonable prices. Enjoyed delicious breakfasts here a couple of times & decided to try their lunches today. What an amazing surprise to discover their range of gluten-free options. Not just, remove stuff from your plate, but gluten-free burger buns (+$4) or lettuce wrap (+$2), gluten free pizza crust (10 in) & pasta (+$5), as well as a server who was knowledgeable enough to let us know that the BBQ sauce on the ribs had gluten & offer to serve it without. Also, to top it off, there was a gf dessert option!!!! So nice to be able to eat out with my family again & actually have a choice!
This place used to be pretty good: fair price, decent food, & almost always excellent services. But now the menu has been shortened & pared down to a monotonous variety & at the same time they have raised the price, while the food remains ok but never truly impressive. Just not as eager to go there anymore as before. Most sincere advice: update your menu from time to time & try to bring it up a notch on the food quality---just to bring it up above the mediocre level.

J'ai visité cette brasserie le 26 déc 2023, Lieu avec une très bonne ambiance musicale, Une cuisine parfaitement bien faites, & des cocktails avec des goûts particuliers, Pour couronner , nous avons été servi par #Johanne qui est super gentil & bilingue, très attentionné & surtout respectueuse, elle mérite plus ✌️ Il y a un parking à l'extérieur facilement accessible
Très bon! Toutefois cela fait quelques fois que je commande via doordash un club sandwich & que le pain est toasté noir... Cela serait bien de faire attention à la qualité car cela gâche un peu beaucoup la saveur!
Excellent. Highly recommended. A breakfast destination that has a good selection, tasty food, ample parking, & takes reservations! It is a spacious & comfortable restaurant. The staff were kind & patient & spoke English with my family visiting from the US. I would go back anytime.

Bonsoir vendredi le 1er décembre 2023 ,mon employeur Les tours Angrignon a fait notre party de Noël. Je voudrais dire un gros merci aux Stafs car ils nous ont donné un service exceptionnel merci. À part le petit oublie de mes 2 collègues, on est seulement 4 qui a resté pour fermer le bar.....
Nous sommes allés à la Brasserie des rapides pour notre party de Noël, & nous sommes franchement déçus. Prix élevés pour nourriture très ordinaire. Menu de groupe pas du tout à la hauteur de nos attentes. Une soupe aux pois en entrée & un petit gâteau sec comme dessert pour 38,95$ on se croirait à la cabane à sucre.
always had a great time there! tbh the best place around. Edit: i went on sunday night fifth of november around 18h30 Where to start? My beer pitcher arrived wih 5 inch of foam on top of it the waitress asked if i want it changed wich i refuse "iam not the type to send back thing in a restaurant so i let it slide even if it was a stella pitcher the most expensive beer over there" & why in the 1st place she brought it to me if she knew it wasnt right? She took a chance... 2nd the nachos carnivore were way too salty plus the meat on it werent cut properly wich make it very difficult to eat, 45 min in we need to ask for napkins & utensils, i order the phillysteak submarine it used to be the best thing i ever ate over there.. the submarine i got was soaked & tasteless + the poutines were cold, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty the service was very long, the waitress was ok she was pleasant nothing more, needless to say that was probably the last time we were going there since a lot have changed. 4 guest 230$+ 50$ tip.
