I came to this location around 3 AM after seeing that they recently extended their hours until 5 AM. It's my go-to spot since I live in the area. I ordered a chicken shawarma bowl, but when I got home & opened it, I was honestly shocked. There was basically no actual chicken in the bowl - literally just CRUMBS & tiny leftover grains/pieces of shawarma chicken scattered over a huge amount of rice. It genuinely looked like someone had scraped whatever was left at the bottom & dumped it into my bowl.
I was frustrated enough that I went all the way back to the restaurant. (Which I never care enough to do) To his credit, the gentleman who seemed to be the night-shift manager was polite & kindly remade the bowl for me. He explained that one of the employees was new & didn't know the proper quantity of chicken to put in the bowl.
What bothered me just as much, though, was the reaction afterward. The manager & some of the staff in the kitchen appeared to be laughing about the situation while I was standing there. I didn't say anything at the time, but I was honestly left in disbelief. I had just driven back in the middle of the night because my meal was served with practically no chicken, & seeing the situation treated like some sort of joke was disappointing.
I understand that new employees make mistakes, especially during a late-night shift, & I appreciate that my bowl was remade without an argument. But there is a difference between accidentally giving a little less chicken & serving someone what looked like the leftover crumbs from the bottom of the container.
I was too frustrated to even think about taking pictures of the original bowl, but I'm writing this review at 3:44 AM, immediately after this happened, while the experience is still fresh. Hopefully, with the new extended hours, more attention is given to food portions & customer service during the late-night shift as I was very pleased to see this location extend its hours but if that comes at the price of food quality then they should just reduce their hours again.
I had uber ordered 4 sandwiches & a medium potato. Potatoes were very good & warm/hot. HOWEVER, the sandwiches were given ICE COLD. I'm not talking the food got cold because of the waiting time. No, the chicken inside was cold (gave us 80% salad & 20% chicken but whatever). The bread was cold, as if they gave us refrigerated food. Which is unacceptable since I'm paying for it. If I come in person & you make the sandwich freshly, why couldn't you from the app? Fix your service & stop scamming people, genuinely it is concerning
I only got 3-4 chicken pieces in my shawarma. Very disappointed about this boustan
Really good customer service food was fantastic would come here again
My first time coming to this location. The staff were friendly & the place was clean. I found the portion of the meat to be not very generous compared to other chains like Basha or Amir. I got a mixed plate so I was expecting to have a lot of chicken but there was barely any just a lot of beef. Next time I order something else.
