I was impressed by the quality & quantity of the dishes served in this restaurant. The service was great & the atmosphere is calm & nice. The decoration of the restaurant is so cozy.
Dishes are definitely to be shared, portions are just perfect for two or more people, plus the freshness of the ingredients is remarkable.
Mon conjoint & moi sommes allés déguster un excellent repas hier soir à ce restaurant. L'endroit est très chaleureux & j'aime bien le fait qu'il est situé à l'étage car plus tranquille. Cela fut une très belle découverte pour nous & nous allons y retourner c'est certain :-) Le propriétaire est super gentil & accueillant. Les repas de couscous étaient succulents (l'agneau fondait en bouche) & également notre entrée de Bourek. De plus, c'est un apportez votre vin. Je vous recommande ce restaurant :-)

Le couscous, l'agneau en méchoui, bourek, le bouillon traditionnel, les merguez & le pain. Tout y étais pour nous faire découvrir des mets traditionnel savoureux.
Les couscous poulet, merguez & boeuf ainsi que le tajine à l'agneau étaient délicieux. Les portions très généreuses. L'accueil impeccable & l'ambiance familial (nous étions 3 adultes & deux jeunes enfants). Nous y avons mangé vers 17h. Je recommande sans hésiter!
Excellente cuisine algérienne. Ce restaurant familial propose une cuisine algérienne authentique & de qualité, comme le couscous. Les merguez, le bourek & le poulet sont également de haute qualité.

This upstairs restaurant makes great use of their space. The decor here is wonderfully done & emulates the exotic grace of North African culture. The gentleman who served us was also superb, I don't think he spoke English but fortunately I was with bilingual company this time. The menu is quite small & focused. They do not offer Tajines anymore per the older menu, only couscous dishes & their sides. I was disappointed by the meat portions. Lots of perfectly fluffly couscous to fill up on but the meat quantity was shy. Good quality to the meats though (we had merguez & lamb shank). Compared to other Maghrebi restaurants I have tried, this one did not compare well unfortunately.
Ambiance, qualité de la nourriture & service incroyables. On a été super bien reçues par Sofiane & sa femme & tout était délicieux & authentique. Un bijou montréalais à essayer & réessayer :)
The couscous was delicious, & the baklawa may have been one of the best I've ever had. So good!! Wish i took pictures to add here. Also the service was great :)
